Very simple and too easy, really. It would be nice if the objective cities could be highlighted so I didn't have to go hunting through them. There should be more you can buy and a way to upgrade your characters. Also, it's really easy to skip all the vessels and go straight to the final one, then just load up the party with attack/defense types to make the game a cakewalk.
What a perfectly done game. Lots of fun building your letter deck and the gameplay is just right. Graphics and story line are superior, nothing frustrating about it. Good job.
Fun little simulator, lots of options. Not sure what the point of cash is, or the game itself for that matter. It would be more fun if you had some sort of goal.
I'm slowly wandering around a board with terrible graphics, killing zombies that randomly appear to grind money so I can get to the next area...does that about cover it? It's so insufferably boring at the beginning that I never made it past the first roadblock. If there is any fun content in this game, it is locked away beyond the first area, which is too lame for me to contemplate finishing.
This is the best sniper game I've seen and I was enjoying it until I started running into all the bugs. The mission where you have to take out the snipers: I've killed every sniper in sight, but it won't let me continue. There isn't a way to cancel the mission(?) and I can't fail it. I'm essentially stuck in the window. Also, my weapon will NOT reload when I push R, but it is only affecting the rifle. There was one mission I did where when I failed it, it would take me to the end of the last mission, instead of the beginning of the one I failed. Then I had to sit through dialogue again that is of course unskippable. The bugs ruin a great game I probably would have otherwise favorited.
Great sequel, I like the streamlined upgrade system and unlockables. There are so many attack patterns it really keeps it interesting. I haven't tried all the modes yet but there seems to be a fair bit of challenge as well. Really good game.
I like the game and the upgrade system, but went to the end pretty easily on my first play though. Never did figure out how to use magic and stuck to the bow to the end, though I'm not a fan of the two shot. I kept losing track of where I was when I got hit, and you can't see your cursor on the ice levels.
I'm a big fan of the original and it's cool that I can make my own levels, but I don't feel the efficiency / solar panels thing adds much to the gameplay. The presentation has taken a huge hit, and the whole game feels like an obnoxious advertisement. I want to destroy a Prius now...
I really like the murderous robot! Interesting gameplay with the reaching arms, I found it hard to stop running into things and got killed a lot at the end of the campaign. The upgrades ensure that you can beat the game if you just keep playing long enough, and I can't decide if this ruins the challenge or makes the game more accessible. Extra modes are good to have in there too, but zombies get tired pretty quick. Damn my hand aches.
I liked this a lot initially, but as you upgrade your ship the levels just get too easy. The bosses are the only real challenge, and since you can out-upgrade them to win, the only challenging level is really the last one.
I played through adventure mode, pretty much only liked the raging part of it. The rest of the game is hunting for keys, grinding for levels to pass arbitrary barriers and picking up weapons that are totally unnecessary. The bosses are the only thing in the game that might kill you, and the final boss is too easy.
Simplistic gameplay and graphics, grinding, a story that doesn't need to be there and terrible controls. Why not just let me fire where I want? This type of game has been done many times before and this control variation is the worst I've ever seen.
