1/5 -- setup has failed? What does your game want access to on my computer that I'm not allowing to cause setup to fail? Is it because I blocked your tracking cookies? I'll re-rate if this gets fixed... I liked the first ETD. Oh well.
Sorry. A lack of tutorial, and the fact that the enemies can be nearly off the screen totally kills what might otherwise be a really cool game. not interested in reading offsite "guides" just to play effectively. To play better? Sure. To know what the hell is going on? No way.
Dragonlheart, when a monster gets through, it takes some mana. If your mana reaches 0, you lose. So, don't always spend mana until you're low, leave yourself a safety net.
Don't let a lot of negative criticism get you down. Use it to make your game better. Collision does get weird when the paddle or ball grow. The paddle can get as wide as the whole screen. You might want to cap that, as well as add a maximum ball size. Make the ball go faster earlier, and give the powerups icons/graphics rather than fuzzy colors. You have a nice start, but it's got a long way to go.
