The composer tool is sweet, tons of fun is to be had with it, but the practicing/concerting is nightmarish, even with customizable keys. Lots of rythm and music games were made and seldom is one more counter-intuitive. Sad thing is the chat causes lots of delay and skipping as well making this potentially awesome experience a living hell.
USEFUL: List of troops that still hurt Baal on epic rather than Heal him:
Mighty Guardian, Valkyrie, Forest Hunter, Elf sniper, as for titans: Sky Dragon and Celestial Angel.
Bug found, nasty one too: after i enter one of the dark side chambers (ones with Mollestors in them) game fails to save properly. Spoilt my first and actually erased my second save so I'm a bit more careful now :P Guess I'll try upping my flash next if it doesn't revert to normal. Still a great game.
Well guess I'm pathethic too cause I ain't gonna play it, just drop by now and then, up a structure or two, get the badge and get back to playing Mardek :P
Nice one. Big variety in weapons and enemies, some platforming, nice brawling, the boar guy is a bit tedious but that's a minor complaint. Overall great game.
Well it's a huge step backwards from Reclaiming the throne if you ask me. All that freedom with creating units we had back then plus the fact the maps were genuinely challenging with almost each one needing a different strategy made it much more fun. Not to mention artifact collecting is quite tedious.
Pretty sweet game, not that it has much competition :P Gameplay seems a bit slowet than part 1 but very rewarding. Guess I missed some nice racing games. :)
A snail game indeed. Painfully slow and mindnumbingly dull. It creates a feeling of being bogged down on so many levels it's uncanny. Buildings build for hours, techs research for hours, hero moves around the map at a snails pace, you even have to wait around 20 secs to speak again in the chat. It's like swimming around in tar where's the fun in that? Not to mention the "Will suck slightly less for cash" aspect. This game makes Dreamworld look good.
Totally badge-worthy :) Just one minor thing that throws me off - the last level is so bloody long, it would be nice to have some sort o indicator of how much of it there is still to run through.
Simple concept that turned out to be rather fun. Looks good too. The two main problems with the game is the random nature of the power-ups and the fact they arc high above the characters head so you really gotta watch it if you want to hit them. A few more concepts, maybe some more weapons and it would really shine.
The series is easily some of the worst games of this type I've ever played. How you screw up a relatively simple game concept this bad repeatedly is anyones guess.
I know this might be semi-intentional with the overall retro arcade style but I'dreally appreciate some smoother controls - not being able to do anything because it freezes moving in one direction really sucks.
