I like those yellow lines. They feel very alive. Almost like an extension of my own arm. I also liked the flexibility in how you can clear a level: sweeping, throwing, bouncing, gliding, flying, etc.
Good game, intelligent concept, great story.
I did find some spelling errors:
"He's busy with he's laptop."
"I'm hoping it will give me better understading of the subject."
"Aperantly he was in pretty bad shape when he got here."
"And started my own independant research."
"I can't rule it out comepletely."
"I don't think it'll help her with her recearch."
"Why does she have papers from 'Green Hills Mental Instituion'?"
Looking forward to the sequel.
Smooth game play. Some points for improvement:
The SFX gets annoying really fast. Maybe add a mute button.
I think bumping into another object should not be an instant death.
Add auto-fire mode.
More power-ups and a power-up gallery.
Looking forward to the next version :)
Fun game. Could be a great way for second language learners to learn structures and components of a sentence. Maybe next time also add some action verbs? 4/5
I think the game looks visually appealing. And the dialogues are fun. I didn't like how many spelling and grammar mistakes there are in such a dialogue-heavy game. 2/5
Nice try, but could have been better. I was mostly looking on the map without even looking at game environment. I expect a game at least to be fun! 3/5
Such an annoying game! Just beautiful how withholding the player from upgrades adds an extra dimension. One possible improvement is increasing the range or drop rate of the power-ups. I often missed them. I think it would have been more enjoyable if I got more power-ups. Otherwise simple and nice game 3/5
