I liked the game. But I'm not sure what to think about it. The Freudian elements (e.g. having fun with sticks-and-stones, fill me up with a bone, ass-pain from sitting on oar), the slang (e.g. "skin-sack"), and the metaphors used (e.g. chopping wood, spank the monkey) gave me mixed feelings. I think it's absolutely playable for kids. They wouldn't understand anyway. However, I would definitely change the term ChiChi monkey man to something else. It feels really offensive. 3/5
It took a while to figure what the story was about. The storylines were like puzzle pieces being laid out with each play-through. I liked how the story was descriptive and non-judgemental. Though I would have liked if there was a storyline where someone actually helped the main character. It was very sad to hear the nurse say: "Tomorrow the doctor will do a check-up and then you can leave."
I think the art and music can be improved by using more natural lines and flows representing motives to the theme. Maybe even make it hand drawn. I think that would improve the strength of the symbolism.
So, I give 2 stars for the art and music and 4 stars for the story. 3/5
