Please sto making Papa' -erias games. They're tediuous, boring and all completey the same. Al the designer has done is change the graphics (only a bit), but the gameplay is EXACTLY the same. Why in the world his must be pat of the Yo Dawg medal, I dunno. But seriously, it makes me want to give up Kong if they're going to promote these kind of craperias...
I know I said I wouldn't go back and find the only amulet piece I was missing, but I did (sheepish look). To be honest, it wasn't THAT difficult since you're all geared up (at least once you open jayisgames's checklist in another tab!). Maybe the one you're missing is the same one I was: "8. The Times dungeon, above the area with the drills." I had totally forgotten about that one since it was near the beginning... But I still say a world map would help a whole lot!
MEDIUM BADGE: Get all life-extending upgrades, the metal-eating one, the one where you rampage with a big red mouth, the mine helmet and the vacuum sucker. Then in sandbox mode, just stay above ground sucking everything to you while you rampage. Easy peazy!
Game is simple keyboard-grinding mayhem. But needs two standard things: MUTE and PAUSE (especially for auto-pause if you break away from the screen, for example, when a coworker/boss comes near your desk, wondering why you're pounding your keys so much...)
It would be good to have a third marking system, like a "?" we can use to mark as a possiblity, but not yet sure. Kinda like many sudoku or crossword programs let you "pencil in" answers...
Great game, but this thing needs two hotkeys: restart game (annoying to have to use the mouse to restart on a game based on typing) and clear word (for all those times I misspell a word from the very beginning). I suggest the END and DELETE keys, respectively...
Anyone else annoyed by games (this is not the only one) which require you to change the zoom on your browser to see the full game interface? I finally bring it up now because for this one I had to put my browser in full-screen mode just to play the game properly. Developers, please account for smaller screens and let the interface automatically fit to the browser window... (or maybe I'm missing something on adjusting my settings?)
I don't know why people don't like the game. I think it's a great combination, at the very least, makes me wish I'd thought of all these configurations when I was a kid, instead of just playing regular Solitaire or "Clock"... PLEASE ADD BADGES!!!! I'd say getting all 27 stars is hard...
It's an OK game, but not up to Nerdook standards. The upgrade system needs improvement. I'm not asking for upgrades to be kept even through defeat, just that it should be made more clear that grinding doesn't function in this game. Though perhaps it might help on harder settings if you can choose a few permanent upgrades to transfer over, or at least upgraded stats on companions?
While I appreciate the funny accents and everything, I'd appreciate a complete mute button, not just for the music. As inevitably happens, the voices get a bit annoying when you can't figure out what to do and keep clicking on people... Please incorporate this (rather standard) feature in future games. Thanks!
What's the point of putting a mute button on the start-up screen, only to have sound come right back on again as soon as you click "Start"? I like the game, but not a fan of having to doubly-so mute the thing as I goof off at work...
Is it normal to have kicked the boss all the way to the end (the house) just by day 2? All I upgraded was "Bonus cash" and "Super snack" each once from my 1st kick... Then was lucky enought to hit all kinds of cars, hydrants, etc. on the way...
sticky keys is an internet explorer bug, you can google the fix or use a different browser.
