Protip, when using the rocket fuel, do NOT hold the button down for a long time; instead, only hold the button down for about a second or two at a time. When he gets to the maximum height (where he's about to fall), then press the button again for a second or two.
This conserves fuel tremendously, you can swipe the screen for all coins/gems, and for some reason a ton of fuel tanks show up. I went from barely making it to the meteor shower to making it to Mars.
There is this invisible wall during a boss fight where it looks like there's more space to move, but there isn't. This causes my sub to get damaged when I try to avoid the attacks.
Additionally, I have to go to the far right-bottom corner after the fight and slowly move up to get the treasure before the key. Otherwise I lose out on the treasure.
Spawn sites should always be made clear. Nothing quite like staking it out in a clear spot in the middle of the room to find that a few zombies spawn exactly where I am and kill me instantly.
I wish that some of the upgrades wouldn't be considered "Maxed Level", especially since we can see what the next upgrade WOULD be. For instance, "Auto Click Faster" shows 13.51->14.22, but the price says "Cannot upgrade further".
I used to play this game all the time, now I come back every year or so because I remember all the time and fun I had playing. The problem comes when you are over level 150 (I'm at level 335 now) or so, which is that the grinding becomes so insanely long and the game loses its appeal quickly.
Even with tons and tons of friends at higher or lower levels, it's still a crazy amount of grinding. Silver becomes useless, and even all the gold in the world of Sacred Seasons does not make this game fun anymore since all you can buy is a 400 level weapon (bear invasion 3 requires level 900+) and a bunch of skill roars and/or miracles just so you can continue grinding. How many times can a player grind an arena or different caves or locations? The plagued grounds was an abomination because the exp given out is less than the underworld, but the "plus side" is lots of silver? Good, I can add more silver to the millions of unused and worthless silver I currently have.
The Idle Power upgrade perplexes me. I originally assumed that the speed at which my character mines would be at a very low percentage, but when power is what's affected, this opens up a new can of worms.
Considering the defense of the stone, would it be safe to say that in Idle Power, you could go from one-hitting a stone to never breaking it since the power of each hit would fall below the stone's defense? To me, it would make more sense for it to take LONGER to destroy the stone in idle mode than for it to inexplicably become unbreakable.
Otherwise, every user would need to backtrack about 15 stones or so just to be able to mine while the computer is off/game is closed instead of expecting a slower income rate.
Albeit this game is pretty old, some bugs I notice are:
1.) With 2 groupies and less, I can perform a perfect 5 air combo with precision all day long.
2.) With 3 groupies, my 5 air combo only shows up as a 3 air combo or the cart will shift in one direction and never turn no matter what I try, which causes me to lose all of my groupies.
It's so easy to spot when a hacker gets greedy and lazy. The number 2,147,483,647 is the largest number available of a 32-bit data type.
Other obvious ones are all 9s or 1 with a bunch of 0s after it.
How do you unlock all of the tiers? I finished all quests, leveled up to 10, got to round 24 in the unlimited defense, got bored and let it end (which stated all quests were finished and unlocked all quests to be played again).
Yet, I still have 2 tiers in the pistols locked and 1 tier in the smgs locked.
One small suggestion, when a star level of a quest is complete (say all of the 1 star quests) the empty slot should be filled with a quest from one of the other difficulties/star levels. This would prevent a bottleneck for players that finish a pipeline of star level quests.
I, for instance, wanted to level my guy up to level 40, but I have 6 more 2-star quests to go (since I completed all of the 3-star and 1-star quests). So, all I get when I hover over the dropdown is two empty slots and a single 2-star quest.
Has anyone ever noticed that the news reporter smiles, no matter how bad the outcome is. Never mind that the whole world is being destroyed by zombies.
Too many flaws. I'm slightly okay with the grinding. But, there's way too many other things.
1.) Why in the world would you throw hundreds of balloons on the screen, all with shields and knocking your character around while hundreds of tiny balloons (blops) are flying even faster off screen while your character can't pick them up?
2.) Weapons upgrade are sometimes really a downgrade. The fire upgrade, for instance, goes from shooting across the screen to being 1" in front of your character...seriously, how in the heck is that good, even if it's more powerful?
3.) Weapons have negative effects. I could understand that an uber powerful weapon would be MUCH more costly than the regular one. But to make all of your weapons ignore a certain type of balloon, even when you have different types that are costlier than others, that's just ridiculous.
So, the moon blows up and all of earth's geniuses decide to elect one person to both come up with a plan AND build a new moon on there own.
Easiest job in the world = one of Earth's geniuses.
@Justasxz, the solution to level 12 is:
1.) Click the switch next to the girl so she drops down.
2.) Wait for the first zombie to get REALLY close to the deactivated red laser, then briefly hold the bottom right switch. Release the switch once you see the zombie freeze (he'll die on his own a second afterward).
3.) Repeat step 2 until all 5 zombies are destroyed.
4.) The "good guy zombie" at the bottom will be close to the laser, but that doesn't matter. Just click the switch at the far left and you'll beat the level when the guy and girl meet together.
Here's the quickest way to win the game and get the hard badge, I've only done this with the first monster (red dragon).
1.) Only train the power skill, this one is super quick and super easy.
2.) Whenever the ! mark is at the bottom left (random opponent challenging you), fight them. They are easy no matter what level you are and give lots of money.
3.) Check the tournament dates for the cup (not season or month) battles. Only play these since all tournament monsters are difficult.
4.) Go to "pet mode" and spoil your pet to the max.
5.) Whenever there isn't a battle or cup tournament, use your in-battle items as well as purchasing the +2 defense or +2 agility in the shop. Use these items and click on train power.
6.) Choose either of the two left trees in the ability tree.
If you follow these steps, you shouldn't ever lose a battle and you'll almost always 1 hit KO every monster.
SAVE BUTTON!!!!!! Nothing quite like winning the Little Giant cup to not get the achievement, then refreshing the page to see if you'll get it and finding out that you've been reset back to the start (yes, I visited the main menu several times during the first session and selected my current monster to see stats of 450+ for power, defense and agility).
Autosave would be a great feature...nothing quite like getting your monster's stats in the upper 200s to lower 300s and then the internet crashing to see your monster's stats at back at around 40-50.
