Meh, yet another game that's almost indistinguishable from Evony, 3 Kingdoms Online, Travian, etc. You either spend RL $ on the game or get beat by players who do. BOOOOOORING.
The AI isn't terrible but the final levels rely on the red side having a massive headstart rather than the game really being challenging. An okay way to spend half an hour but that's about it. Keep working tho.
This game is easy, dull, and the characters look like crap. Whoever the artist it is that draws this crap needs to be kicked in the nuts so he can't reproduce.
Kind of dull really. I mean the only skill is hitting the meter at the right point and then hitting the nerd as he hits the ground. So it's like 2 seconds of playing for every full minute of just watching him bounce around. Gets boring fast. 2/5.
Pretty good, 5/5, but a little tedious at the end. Once you've gotten yourself advanced to a certain degree there's not a whole lot of challenge. The last 40 cities or so I think I only failed to completely destroy maybe two of them on the first try.
Wow. I started out poorly enough that I was planning to play through this again with my new found knowledge, but this combat is so freaking tedious with all these misses that I don't think I'll even finish this once. 2/5 maybe 3/5 for effort.
They REALLY need to adjust the hit/miss ratio in this game. Even with uber gear that ups my hit ratio like crazy I still spend half the fight watching my character and the enemy miss each other over and over. BORING!
This would be a lot more fun if I didn't have to just guess about things like, range, chances of hitting the enemy, how much damage they can take, can you fire through rocks/trees, pretty much all the information you need to form a strategy. This is getting a 1 out of 5 so far due to complete lack of documentation.
Well the joy and torture of programming is that if you make even the slighest mistake your whole program grinds to a halt. Takes a lot of patience to figure out where that one line or even letter is wrong. I spelled "missile" "missle" just once and took me a few minutes to notice the mistake and fix it.
A word of advice: Don't just copy and paste the code. Type it in yourself, you'll remember it and learn it better if you actually type it in. Kind of like repeating a word in a foreign language rather than just hearing the word.
Yes they should mention that the class names/files ARE case sensitive.
For a little fun and practice see if you can figure out on your own how to make your ship's velocity increase the more/longer you hold down a movement button. It's not too tricky to figure out how to do and will make you feel clever ^_^
Frankly I'm glad to see a lot of people belly-aching about how hard it is to make an account and blah blah. Less competition for me. Besides, if you can't even be bothered to register/make an account to download flash, you don't have what it takes to make a game that's not going to suck anyways. Kongregate's being cool and trying to help you and you sit there and QQ about it. So good riddance to all the crybabies.
P.S. If you managed by a complete roll of the dice to infect the entire world, you'd have to truly suck not to kill everyone with 100 days. So the two badges for relaxed are both redunant and not worth that kind of points. They might as well give a 60 point badge to a game of monopoly.
I give this game a 2/5 because of the lack of information. Why do countries change color? What does it mean? What leads to countries closing their borders? It's not just visibility. I give the tutorial a 1/10 for telling me absolutely nothing an 8 year old couldn't figure out. Does being more lethal and causing deaths make countries close their borders? Good luck figuring it out. This game seems to be 95% luck with a tiny amount of strategy and deserves no badges.
