Fun concept, but the math in this game is just not good for long term - the interval for wanting to prestige every few days at most, the way it's set up it's pointless to prestige after you get to a 5x or 6x mutliplier - subsequent achievements take far too long and don't give anywhere near the relative benefit.
You should have achievements give variable amounts of multiplier - so each achievement gives a higher multiplier, and thus makes prestiging worthwhile.
Also the math feels kind of screwy - buying from lower tier weapons never seems like a good idea, even if they're mk-2 vs mk-1, the efficiency is never really there for them to matter.
With higher level bonuses on lower tier weapons for (25\100 levels) will make them matter again. Because The higher base weapon dps the lower x25\100 modifier is.
Would cut down on the amount of 'item checking' if the actual strength of an item was better tied to its level - or there was some other idicator the item was above average quality - you can often find items that are at lower level with just purely better stats.
You didn't understand my comment. I see that you're checking comments here, but what I meant is this:
Personal level 1-5, the game is very interesting. Many different upgrades to balance, checking between tech, city upgrades, which multiplier will give me the best benefit, when I should move to a new city.
Personal level 6+: Game is boring. Check what the next manager is, check what the next upgrade is, work toward that. Food doesn't matter, buy everything in the first minute. Tech doesn't matter, buy everything in the first minute ( the paradox doesn't matter much when you're going from 350% bonus to 400% bonus). All the multipliers for differenty city facilities are the same x, same cost. The multiplier for the next achievement is the same for every business.
So yeah, I think you stopped paying attention to making the tuning interesting at personal level 6+.
Interesting at the beginning - but clearly suffers from the developers not paying as much attention past the first few days. Everything gets boring, samey, or just 'maxxed out' once you hit the city stages.
Who is not paying attention ? We just released a new version, we restore Save files to 50 people every day, we reply to all questions and to all the forum questions. I suppose that your comment was supposed to be written in another game :) Thanks for the love that you are sending to us :)
