I walked away from this boring game and left it running, and when I returned and finished the very boring level I was 49000% over par and I didn't care enough to retry. Boring, unoriginal, complete crap. Lame advertising gimmick giving it a challenge, it doesn't deserve it at all and unlike most of the challenges that are thinly veiled advertising this one doesn't even have a real prize. 1/5
I feel like it's way too easy... You explore carefully then taunt and pelt the enemies with ranged attacks. But it feels well put together. I'd like to think of this as like the first "Protector" game. If you can pull off a level of polish and fun like that series by the fourth chapter I'll love your game. 4/5 for now, for potential I see here if nothing else.
Early in the game I had a regular survivor named Ada Foster. I sent her out scouting on the first night and she lost an eye. Her name was then Ada "Cyclops: Foster. She became a soldier, and was always the one I sent out. I got all my reports from her, even on those final, constant attacks. She was my general and with me all the way from my first new farm to the end, curing zombiesm. I'm glad you were with me to save the world, Cyclops. 5/5.
A lot of the comments express confusion about the mystery upgrade. The Penguin is from Learn to Fly, the Hedgehog is from Hedgehog Launch, and the Turtle is from Toss the Turtle. Three games (available on Kongregate) that obviously gave a lot of inspiration (especially learn to fly) to this one. You should all go play them.
The bugs really mess with what is a very fun experience, and it's inexcusable considering they weren't always around. This game was stable once. It's one thing for a commenter to post a workaround, but for the actual developer to suggest the same thing is as lame as Ikea telling you to just put a book under your uneven table leg and calling it a fix.
Got the Hard badge before either medium, it's really NOT hard... Just throw the plane nearly straight up (if you try straight up you might throw backwards and crash), boost up and then level out on your last tank of fuel and keep the plane straight. I only got up to 80m height and just kept it level at that point...
Don't ever upgrade life. It just makes your returns take longer. If you focus on getting speed to 100 first, then raise sight to 100 and land to 250, you can hold down the space bar with an item and walk away and come back to an endless stream of hundreds of dying people and thousands of souls.
Got bored at level 37 and quit. Too little money earned to bother making the 20800 required for the last two helpers, and no real challenge to encourage me to do it. The first four helpers only need a little help to keep everything dead. Needs more types of zombies, more upgrades other than helpers and guns.
Adds absolutely nothing to the strategy RPG genre and is so simplistic and derivative to even detract from it. It's great to be a fan of the genre, but instead of uninspired knockoffs, think of your own, new ideas and help the genre grow... Not die.
Needs a survival mode badly. Once you've finished the achievements, if you'd like to keep leveling there is nothing to do. It'd be nice to have a real challenge against endless waves. Also, Bull's Heart and Pain Killers and the Riot Shield are all pointless without something like that since the whole point is to not get hit if you want General.
