Game design is below average (some upgrades are superfluous, gameplay is repetitive), but the game coding is well-crafted. Responsive controls, fast yet smooth animations, enemy motion is interesting without being chaotic.
I bought the game last year, been enjoying it with what I assume is Adobe Air. and I've been told it's gauche to complain about Unity 3D. I'm giving it a 5/5 on credit because I'll assume it's as good as the home game.
strange bugs. Sometimes I'd restart a level, and gravity would be oriented up, or to the right. I also noticed that after completing a level, sometimes I'd skip the next level (ie. after completing 9, I would automatically start level 11). To see the skipped level I would need to exit to menu and select the missing one.
On levels where the threat is >50% and I need to clean up, the framerate drops very low. When it was time to start on the last quarter's outskirts, the framerate was less than 1 per second -- the starting audio clip played entirely before the display faded in from black.
Day 20. Still only have the starting handgun, a shortbow, and three survivors (lost one during a search). Is this game supposed to be this hard? I do like the feature where you get extra time the next day for a successful headshot.
Thank you very much. I'll see what I can do. It's on Chrome right?
