Nice visuals, but I had to turn off the sound effects immediatly. Squeaking with every shot fired gets on your nerves really fast. Im also not really sure whats going on. You run arround and do stuff..I killed something from off screen and the outro played ? Also: Typo in the intro, and keyholes can be beneath bushes, making them hardly visible.
Well, in the end there is much less to the game than it may seem at first glance. 1. Complete levels, no matter how, just get the golems. 2. You won, the game is now trivial.
It's great how some enemies just run past your melee units. No, Im not talking about being swarmed. I am talking about just a single unit running through, with none of the melees caring.
The visual design is great, but it's unbalanced/unfair as hell. Most of the upgrades have next to no impact, and the game would be pretty much impossible to beat if the enemies would respawn when you do.
The basics of the game are very good, and it starts out promising. But after the first ~100 days the balancing just calls it quits. When you keep an eye on the diamond prices it's pretty easy to just skip most of the vessels and get a ship pretty much from the start. And that's the same for everything: You are maxed out very fast, and then there isn't much to do anymore. The only exception are sieges, because they are completely random. The damage from both the city and your ship varies between ~15-50, since you attack frist you win most of the time, still odd.
Seriously, whats it with the reputation in this game. I slaughter everything that crosses my path, I just decided to take over a city because why not...reputation still raises.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm not sure what you mean by "I killed something from off screen and the outro played". By outro what do you mean?
