Minor gripe - you have an upgrade that procs on other upgrades... that doesn't show up at the top of the upgrade list, nor does the upgrade list have a scroll bar, so even if i can reach the thing that gives alien research labs without any significant number of upgrades, I can't start with that one because I can't see it off the bottom of the list.
Possible bug - right clicking assistant abilities causes them to automatically trigger, even without the assistant automation assistant.
Unintended solution for Spark Test - Aquatic Zone - Hard 3: http://prntscr.com/nx3lcf turns out that the game allows you to empty a hover shell when it transitions from diagonal flight through water to vertical flight up a wall, allowing you to leave one just floating there to act as a platform for another to step up to the exit.
There is a way to render the game unfinishable. Second playthrough, I forgot to open either door on the left side of the fourth floor, leaving me one gold key short of being able to progress below the second floor, after opening all other doors in the game. Will admit, I kinda wasn't thinking all that hard about it at the time, until it happened.
feature request: When setting pictures in a museum, it could return to the individual museum screen instead of the main gallery screen, since you're generally filling the entire thing by the time you have the money to buy it, and it makes the process that bit more tedious to do when you need to click back in to the museum each time
And now, can confirm. From the left side of the last island, move directly up to the top of the map, then move left until you hit the boss arena. Jump off, and try to mine the rock there. That is the key to get the good end instead of the bad one. Bad end achieved with over 1700 points, poked the rock, got the good end... still over 1700 points.
There is one other thing I can think of, though it will require starting a new game for me to test it... there is a rock on top of the first boss's arena that I noticed. Out of petty spite, I ran up to harvest it once I could reach it (requires the upgraded propeller). It said something about traveling through time. I thought it was an easter egg at first... but lemme try a new game without getting that and report back.
For the purposes of sussing out ending conditions, I have the good end with 23 minutes 34 seconds spent in game. 260 wood, 91 rocks, 18 iron, and 80 essense gathered - final score 2601. Of these, I would assume that either score or time are the important metric(s)
Reloaded, jumped off the island a few times, good end again, score is down to 2588, time is up to 23 minutes 47 seconds... so the timer is directly tied to time (13 more seconds, 13 fewer points). So I suppose the next step is to determine the threshold for dropping from the good end to the bad one.
To everyone, regarding moving upwards: lower islands can contain either rocks or enemies. Kill said enemies to earn Essence, and break the rocks for Stone. This gives you the needed materials to buy the elevator. Once built, you'll need to hook on to the slightly higher islands while they are close to the dashed lines that appear on your island, but not directly above them. This lets you ride the elevator up, then jump over to the new island. That said, got the good ending... how do I get the bad one?
When prioritizing between 10s, 9s, 8s, 7s, and 6s, keep in mind that, when you have all 4 of all of the cards, the second die is almost always markedly stronger than any of the others (10k - 100k x the first or third dice, which are 10k - 100k x the fourth or fifth), making 9 stacking the strongest single die boost
If the last level is impossible at all, it's because of that very tight switchback in the middle. It's near impossible to reach that without narrowing their field of view (i find 20/40/60 works nicely), but that makes them almost blind to the road on the far side of the switchback, and even when they aren't blind to it they try to turn before the curve in the road, i assume because they can't see both the road on the far side and the wall in between at the same time. Making that curve right-straight-right instead of right-right-left-right could make the map completable. If you still want it to be hard, consider right-straight-straight-right-straight-right-left, making a wider ring with a harder turn at the end. Anyhow, I enjoyed this, though i doubt that i'll be picking it back up before i figure out why my computer won't save some games, including this one. (2/2)
So, having reached the last map 3 separate times, i can say this: your genetic function seems to trend towards making changes too early for a maze pathfinding function, if you want acceleration to learn faster consider adding a bit more weight to it in the fitness function (perhaps multiply its distance fitness by (time it would take to reach that distance at max speed/actual time taken), divided or square rooted to level it out, or multiplied or squared to exagerrate it, so that a faster motorcycle that gets slightly less far might be the more fit one. Giving the AI some/more ability to randomize its speed off the starting line might also help. (1/2)
Aaaaand collection complete. For some reason, the Magical Port City eluded me until I read that the Magical City itself is a unique structure and required not having the port variant built. >_>
Still, a nice puzzle to play through several times over. Great work!
What I mean is that i'm shooting for a deathless run. If I die once, it's faster to restart the game than it is to finish the game. I don't want to take several extra minutes to reach the victory screen. There is no other method in-game to restart the game, leaving me with one option - if I refresh the page, I can get back to the start of the game. A button in the game to start over would be nice, especially now that there are specific rewards given for beating it without dying.
Ah ok. Sorry i had not understood what you wanted. I will work on it for a quick Restart way. What do you think about pressing 2 times in a row the button "Esc", to immediately restart the game? Could this be a good and effective solution to make you reach your goal faster? PS: Expect a diminish of difficulty on next update (people die way too much on average, and that's not funny for them. You excluded, of course, i know you are very good ;D )
Ok so... with a thing in place that rewards you for beating the game without dying, a way to restart the derping thing without refreshing the page or playing it through would be nice
I don't understand perfectly what you mean my friend :D. If you are on the victory screen, and you press a button.. you should restart the game! does it happens? or you had to refresh? Thanks for the feedback! (unless you have not seen alcoholic Porkin.. :D in this case i give a fast way to return back there and see it :D )
oh for the love of.... really? the oxygen production number is a lie. The actual production visibly scales down as my stockpile goes up (i have 6e6 oxygen production/s, there should literally never by a time i'm gaining 0.0004e8 oxygen/s, 4e4/s, but here i am checking the amount i'm gaining with each tick and down it goes as the stockpile goes up.)
Gotta say, it's a huge grind when trying to get Neutrons... there just aren't any great ways to generate enough eV's. Best way that i've found involves running the Ionization -> Electron Affinity -> slowly synthesize H2 loop for a net positive eV income. Am I missing something here?
There we go. Just hit 320, and got this transition from Empire with 15 planets inside to Ruler of few planetary (systems), but the actual level up UI shows it should have been Ruler of few planetary systems to Biggest empire inside Milky Way.
A nice start, and always nice to see idles with at least an implied end point. That said, a few things: About the lag, I did feel it, in that it slowly got worse over time. Refreshing cleared it up very quickly, implying that it's some sort of memory leak of some description, and lag testing should probably be handled overnight, possibly with an autoclicker to keep the game semi-active. Second, it seems possible, especially as the lag mounts, to pass the daily limit on diamond finds. Case in point, http://prntscr.com/h0euec 176/175. Third, the empire size UI breaks a bit around lord of the earth, giving the same title twice, then from then on giving you the title you advanced FROM in the empire size progression UI. I will do my best to follow up with a screenshot or two to show it off, since it's rough to describe.
It is not imposible :)
