@whatever4321234 try using your dragon list to release dragons from your Buffer's party, especially if one of them is a Conrit. Haven't tested to verify it will work, but it might. If it does, leave a comment to the effect, and if it works mind mentioning which dragon release got it to stop locking up the dragon's den?
OK so I've done what research I can regarding the infamous Dragon's Den bug. Due to the one-and-done nature of it, I can't guarantee this is the only way, but I think it's reproducable. There's something that glitches with certain tier 3 Serpent class dragons (notably the Conrit) when assigned to the Buffer. This may also require a higher-level Dragon's Den, though it did not proc from me upgrading the Dragon's Den to level 10. The legendary Serpent works fine. If you feel you really want to use a Serpent in your Buffer team, remove it from the team before you evolve it. If the game does not close the switching prompt when you select the dragon again, requiring you to hit the X to close it, DO NOT CLOSE THE PROMPT. That dragon is glitched, and closing the prompt will forever lock you out of the dragon's den. While you're watching out for bugs, here's a much less game breaking one: If you release a dragon while you are in a dungeon, you might also flee the dungeon.
Consider me disappointed at the lack of easter egg for doing this. http://prntscr.com/c984k0 <-- done by getting achievements 79 + 80 before ascending.
Noticed that there are achievements that give enchanted gems when you get them. Not to be dissuaded by things like practicality, I've been pushing to get them since the Warlock mentioned needing 30 to turn human and not die. This was days ago, and some 70 zones ago. I like to imagine that the conversations have been to the effect of "Hey, still hanging in there?" "Blaaaaaaaarg I am dying please PLEASE take this gem back and let me let you ascend!" "Nah, that's cool. I still think we can get the 30 you needed. Time to drag you a few dozen miles that way, since that's the direction we need to go. Watch out, the ground looks pretty jagged and awful." "Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?!" This has gone on for 60 zones so far.
aaaaaaaand i'm done. Game completely glitched out near the end, not going to play again to see it through. There are some serious game breaking bugs left in this game.
It's possible i've just rendered evolution impossible. Haven't even unlocked it yet. The story advanced a chapter while I was in a dungeon, and now in the training grounds all my dragons say "Dragon on dungeon, can't evolve" permanently. Have refreshed, have caught new dragons (that say the same thing).
It's worth pointing out to people that the low tier equipment is by no means useless. It -is- something of a trade-off, but especially in the early- to late mid-game, the upgrade cost savings can be invaluable. The H1 Grig, when upgraded, can have the same maximum durability as the H2 Caterpillar, the highest Agility of any hull in the game (making snaking around gathering collectables and avoiding obstacles a breeze), and enough Vision to see most of the screen. All of this, at a fraction of the cost of upgrading ANY other hull. Any new engine will be out-performed by a better upgraded lower tier engine, so assume you need to sink an upgrade or 3's worth of cost before switching over. Battery powers are a thing to keep an eye on, and choose your component wisely. Just remember that really there isn't a useless part, and things can get a lot easier for you.
the stats page has several errors - incorrect money earned, projects complete stuck at 0, and planet descriptions offset by 1 (moon's description reads like the end of earth's, mars's like the moon's, ceres's like mars's)
I have no idea how, with a single option, you stop the main window scrolling when I over-scroll a little in the game, but more developers need to know and use that trick. Thank you. That is easily the single most aggravating thing when playing a game that utilizes the scroll wheel at all.
@luigibros3: The "other music" is the background sound effects. Turn off sound too, and it'll be silent. It's not like you'd be missing other sounds, as there are no menu/UI effects.
Double-posting! woo! If you get frustrated by the slow rate of production, you can exploit the alignment conversion mechanic. Get a planet to the very border of alignment change, then buy the stuff you need, change its alignment, and its inventory will be refreshed and full to buy again. Pick the right planet and it'll have faction-products to sell while neutral as well, meaning you can buy at both phases.
So. Fun facts. Good-aligned pirate dens in an evil-aligned sector still smuggle now-legal weapons and moon powder. If you have a change of heart about an evil aligned sector, be prepared to wait a very, very, veeeeeeeeery long time for any products to be made. By the end game you can skip across the entire sector in 2 jumps, meaning it's very simple indeed to drain the entire sector of every good product in existence. Not surprised that there's no particular "end game" for keeping the cube yourself, though slightly disappointed when it dawned on me that there really weren't many other options (i suppose i could have literally -sold- the plot coupon)
Suggestion: gems boost the odds of getting your faction's coins until you unlock their Alliance upgrade. Overall, the impact on royal exchanges is relatively minor, but it allows you to get your faction unlocks a little earlier, as around 20k gems it is difficult to get the faction unlocks even as it becomes trivial, regardless of faction, to get to hall of legends and the bulk of the other upgrades. Even if you tried to use this to get some early royal exchanges instead, it may provide an early boost at the cost of being basically worthless to do more than 1-2 times, compared to saving up the 600 faction coins to make your faction work for you
wait, wait... there's no Legendary Assistant at 100 halls of legends? SCANDALOUS! D^8
Still 'n all, a well made and enjoyable idle/click game, and nice job allowing people to focus down on the part of that equation that you like more.
Played this during the energy system days and I enjoyed it then. It's still good, though if I had any quibble at all it's that resetting the game... well, doesn't reset the game very well at all. I would have to root around through the flash files and delete them if I wanted to dramatically alter the way that the Technology episode goes (resetting it leaves you at 116/142 elements, starts off largely completed, and is completely unaffected by resetting the Beginning episode and playing that through differently. I do enjoy the way the Quests were done, and the puzzles were done decently as well. Overall, well done.
Numsiqil, there's a bit of a trick to it, and it can be greatly eased by zooming way in, because it requires pixel-perfect placement. Move an extractor one pixel at a time to the top-left corner. Move a second extractor immediately below the first so they are touching. This may kick out of position by a pixel, that's OK, just move it in again. Next, place your third extractor to the right of these two such that the left border overlaps the right of the last set by 1 pixel, and about 1/2 an extractor lower. This can be very fiddly, so move it up and down a bit until the overlap highlight isn't there. Place your 4th extractor below the third. For the 5th, overlap by 1 pixel and place it halfway between the last two vertically, then the 6th goes on top of that. The designer has indicated 7 is possible, but for the life of me I can't get 3 to stack vertically, so I can't help there. But this is how to get 6.
Zenith - they change color like that after you hover over them. That they don't change back when you stop hovering over them may be a minor graphical glitch. Change to any other in-game tab, then change back. Should clear that up.
could you explain what glitch you had, a screenshot will be helpful. Thank you for playing our games
