nvm, the boss before the first save point is the only hard part of epic mode. get lucky, get past that boss, and smooth sailing. @DanceLarryDance: Defend with Matt and he can survive 2x nukes and a Tank divebomb.
epic mode fails. boss before first save point brought both characters from full with full buffs and auto life to dead (twice) in the first turn. I read a guide and talk to some people. Their advice? Be lucky
