Not sure if this happened for anyone else, but when using Rainbow Petals, if you use science to speed up to/past the research time, the petal will just disappear and you'll have nothing to show for it. I lost, like, two or three petals this way, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to get the last two I need to complete the 5-leaf clover.
Also, a suggestion: the disadvantageous cheat options (5x/50x/Huge/Heavy Obstacles, Huge Player, and 2x/10x Gravity) should have money multipliers, but possibly only when used in Sandbox Mode or any save file where the goal has been completed.
@DeuxES That actually makes it cheaper for the same defense, because Defense (Rel.) and Defense (Abs.) are the white box versions of the elemental resistances.
Had an idea that might save some players time, and allow them to share blueprint setups: importing and exporting blueprints. Exporting would copy the blueprint as a text code to the clipboard and allow the player to post it for another player to use. Importing the code would check to see if the importing player has enough blueprint points to buy all of the skills in the blueprint. If so, it automatically buys/sells upgrades to get to the levels in the blueprint. If not, the blueprint does not import.
Also, once you've gotten them capable of winning with one setup, be sure you retrain them whenever you switch vehicles or make significant changes to the one they're driving.
My drivers could never make it past the first sharp turn...until I went into Genetics and maxed out Mutation Rate, Max. Pertubation, Elite Count, and Elite Copies, then built up enough money to max out the vehicle's Steering Boost and Brake Force.
Now...now I have a Race Car, almost fully upgraded, that can consistently win Track 10 without ever touching the walls.
I was going to ask where the powered factories for harvesting logs were, but then I took a look at the resource requirements and realized...once I have wood factories, stone quarries, coal quarries, and steelworks, I don't need logs anymore.
After creating a certain number of elements, I get an error message in the game and have to reload the page. I think the implementation of the energy system hasn't been fully removed yet.
If you're extremely careful, and conservative with fuel rods, you can get away with putting four Extreme Capacitors around a T6 Heat Inlet as long as you have a bunch of T6 Heat Outlets surrounded by T6 Heat Vents. Enough of these, and instead of filling the holes with Capacitors, I fill them with Plating.
Please add some sort of in-game indication that the heat exchanger upgrades also affect inlets and outlets! I had to find out for myself via experimentation!
Fixed in current version (1.1.10), you should get all your lost petals back after reloading the game.
