Don't make such sharp turns if you set the turnrate so low. That makes sense, doesn't it? I don't like to see the computer turning on a dime when I need the whole state of Texas.
I gave this 5/5, until I got to level 20. All of a sudden, you've got two dozen shapes of all kinds coming out of nowhere to completely overwhelm you. What's worse is that the continue doesn't help. It starts you at the beginning of the level, so you make no progess, and your colors aren't even recharged! It's ridiculous.
I know it's not exactly zen, but what I picture when I'm playing this is the loops and curves conquering the straight and disconnected black blobs. Makes it a little more interesting.
I'm all for the randomness, but attacks have to have a minimum damage. I mean, you can't say realistically "ahh, this time the lunge thrust through the neck hardly hurt him at all".
One little thing that I don't like is that the slice/kick keys are set on T and Y if you want to use the arrow keys, and you can't change it. I've got an ergonomic keyboard, and T and Y are about an inch apart, which is uncomfortable with only one hand. That wouldn't be a problem except my 4 and 5 are a little unresponsive sometimes. Could ya make it so you can pick the keys you want?
Those levels with only one axis of the mouse inverted really got me. I can deal pretty easily with both inverted, but just having one is definitely an out-of-the-box trick.
Very nice game. I've never played (or honestly even heard of) Advance Wars, but it must be pretty good.
One mistake I noticed: on the description of the Strike Commando, it says that trucks fear it -- but there are no trucks in the game.
