Don't choose to overwrite your save. Just use another slot. Like an idiot, I chose to overwrite my near-perfect game to get the worst endings, but I still had one tip to find...damn.
As I play, I'm getting a bit steamed about the obvious flaws, but I realized it's because this is a good game with potential to be really great with work. Add what everyone is saying and you've got a jewel on your hands.
Sorry, but I could not care less about actual in-game screenshots. Why doesn't this game get cached? I have to wait this long every single time I want to play?
Pretty good. There's a short but huge drop in framerate when a large group of enemies enter the screen, though. I guess once they're out-of-view you drop something that you load when the come back in sight, but I don't think that's a good idea. The last time you want to be paralyzed is when a huge horde has just appeared in front of you.
How long is this game, anyway? I got to level 17 and could have gone much farther without too much trouble.
You've got a lot of potential, but it's wasted in this demo by at least one major flaw: you can't maneuver for crap. Even the pirates can strafe, but you put the player in a slowly-rotating ship, often trying to snipe or fight three pirates at once? No fun.
All of the characters are very cool, but I think there should be rewards or at least achievements for playing some. I mean, some of them can't even attack, or have low survivability. There's no reason to play them now.
A grenade hits, and all of your comrades are knocked flying, but you remain standing in your heavy combat armor and rally the men! Doesn't that sound cool? Oh wait, your armorless men remain standing while you are thrown like a rag doll. Not cool.
Ignore the people who groan about you making another Robot Wants game. They probably don't even play it. The rest of us will support Robot's wants no matter what he goes after! Kong Wants More Robot!
Very few games have the perfectly balanced difficulty curve that both keeps you playing until you beat it and imbues you with immense satisfaction when you do. This is one such game.
