Pretty good game, but the units are a little skewed. The crossbow knight individually is weak, but he's very cheap, so you can spam him and win like that easily -- catapults, not that bad, I can tell the range is a little longer than the knights, but even longer might be better -- the mage sucks, hands down -- earth golems can beat through everything to the end, where the enemy towers can't really kill him and he's left alone whacking at the enemy base, which isn't really good -- and the griffin riders don't seem very good at all. They fly to the enemy base quickly, but as soon as they stop moving they're bird meat. I still like this game though, more in this line would be great.
Did a test with the drugs on two of the most-evolved beetles. One male I fed almost entirely drugs, the other female grapes. By 100 days, the male had very slightly more attack and HP. By day 200, the female had slightly more attack, more speed and about twice as much HP. In short, avoid drugs unless a couple for very young beetles.
Twice now I've paused by getting into the menu, then lost my game by clicking main menu instead of play. More of a problem with me than the game, but I wish it saved your progress.
I'm glad that this was a defend-against-the-virus instead of an apocalypse game. Swine flu is real, and championing it would have been a little too much.
Strange, different, but excellent! It does get very crowded on the islands -- I wish I planned it better. It took me a while to find the priest, because I'd blocked the front of the church with a mine.
Mephestus, there are plenty of free games out there. You want to play them, go ahead. Don't scorn someone for wanting money for their hard work. Could you make something like this?
In the level with the squirrel, sometimes switching characters locks the game. Makes an already tedious puzzle rather more tedious, as it means beginning over and over again.
Didn't seem that bad. When the controls actually worked. I started this and nothing worked. Speed up/slow down sometimes made the engines flare on the ship. But when it eventually started working (at least movement and lasers) it was more fun, at least.
Jigokuro, there is a high point, but it's hard to get to. To the right of the blinky thing, theres a cloud above a hill that's just too high to jump to. You need to float, absorb energy from the people shooting at you, and then when you get to the top of the cloud, you should see where to go next.
The fact that you can actually level hills and create valleys with your attack is really cool, but I keep on doing it by accident and smashing hills I use to get to high places.
I don't find this game boring, like others have said they did, but I think that is just part of the fact there is no story to lead things on. That's all this game is missing, in my opinion.
Some of those differences were too hard to click. Leave aside even the difficulty of noticing, but I clicked on several plain differences only to find that you need to click on a specific small part of the difference.
This is the best in the series. I just played through the entire first new game, when this doesn't have badges (yet) and without getting bored. The best tactic is to send your hero forward to hold the line at first, then lure their hero out ( a well-placed fireball works) then wait till your army is as big as it gets before attacking.
