It becomes extremely boring when you each level have three times the material needed to beat it. You don't need any skill whatsoever as you can line up each shot several times.
The red and white background on the menu page is really hard on the eyes when reading the story text. Same goes for the instructions, although since they include less text is not as bad. Still, I'd advice putting both inside uniformly coloured boxes, it would be an improvement. Other than that, it's a neat little game.
Three-in-a-row isn't really the best game to make into a flash game if you expect one that has playability. The strategies involved are so extremely simple that any AI should be able to recognize how to draw the game each and every time. Not even your very hard AI seems to be able to draw, which makes the difficulty settings kinda moot. Try to come up with a game that has more playability, and the game will turn out much better.
The Crystal Spear is way overpowered. Having each close combat attacker hit everyone in range means it's basically meaningless to ever have more than one close combat unit. They'll all be dead at the same time. Some enemies just run right past my attackers. Using the tornado will effectively cause some enemies to jump up in the air, at which point my attackers just rush on, and I can't make them turn around to kill them. Tornado spell is freakishly overpowered too, spamming tornados can pretty much kill any enemy except for the really tough ones. Story mode is way too short and easy, I got the hard badge WAY before the medium badge.
Hulls seem to be the only way to ever lose money, as you sell items for what you bought them. Buying a hull simply dumps your previous hull though, regardless of which one is better or more expensive. The game is horribly unbalanced, with the only difficult level being the second last one, and the only reason that one is difficult is because the playing area is ridiculously small, so the sworded enemies can jump at you from nowhere and drain all your health in one go, regardless of how armoured you are. The only reason I finished the game was that it took so extremely little effort, apart from the second last level.
Wow, so many bugs, so little space for a comment. Muting is bugged, if I mute the music, it will come back on again after a fight. Muting sounds shouldn't mute the music, as you have a separate button for that. Pausing the game brings up a button that says "mute". Why? Clicking it doesn't do anything but restart the game. Boss gadgets disappear randomly. Some weapons seem to be homing on regular enemies, but won't home on bosses. The weapon alignment sometimes goes completely berzerk and points your weapons basically wherever. In the shop, you really should have some form of description of what goes where. Some "stuff" goes in weapon slots, other in accessory slots. For some reason, there's a shield under "swords".
There's some kind of lag issue which keeps me from enjoying this game. Weird thing is, it's not an "even" lag, it seems like the game keeps speeding up and slowing down several times a second, even with no enemies on the screen.
This is complete and utter bullshit. You're trying to block out other developers from winning prices with this piece of garbage, and in my book that doesn't fly.
short of Vehicles Level ))
