@7Aleks, the default rules pretty much match the rules played in the UK: epa.org.uk/rules.php. Also, you can change the rules to match whatever you play. If you prefer US pool, then try my other game American 8-Ball Pool - it's set-up to match the World Pool rules. @Giantjobbies and @thelongfellow, thanks for keeping me entertained!
@FenwickCat, congrats on the break!!! I saw it in the stats the other week. It's a kongregate issue when a score disappears from their high scores. I've notice that it's happened a few times in the past, and I contacted them about it, but the didn't do much about it. You should complain to them and ask where your top score went!!!
@nateagnoli, it doesn't favour the computer, you just need to be good to win the Gold tournaments. After all, pool is a game of skill, you need to think about position and know when to play safe. Most people should be able to win the Bronze Cups easily enough. @BrainPool - cheers ^_^
@AdamnationZ, I am a pool enthusiast. I wouldn't have made it otherwise. If you don't want to play pool on a small screen, I suggest not playing any flash games - the screen is as big as it can realistically be for a flash game. I think it's not too hard to line up shots, some players have made breaks of over 40, so it's hardly impossible. It's better to have a challenge than winning all the time too. Finally, you can mute the music at any time with one click. Cheers
@Giantjobbies, dunno how that is possible as all the stats are save together. I've just tested the game and my tournament win saved fine. Maybe it's because you had a problem with the Shared Object, maybe the data wasn't saved properly for some reason on your first reload. I think it should be OK if you win it again... hopefully...
@Giantjobbies, it's not Chrome - I use that too. You need to check out your flash Shared Object settings on your computer. Check out the Whisper I sent you, the links should help you... Cheers
@Giantjobbies, why would I wipe anyone's stats??? People wouldn't be able to become rank #1 if I was. Which stats are causing you problems, the in game stats OR Kong High Scores???
@kurtismo, one more useless fact: Nihon translates as Sun-Book (ni-hon), hence their love of the sun (at least in the flag design) and their studious nature. Keep the facts coming!!!
@kurtismo, thanks for the random facts! Here's another, Nihon is more commonly used instead of Nippon in spoken Japanese. But Nippon is written on all bank notes and used in footy chants "Nippon cha-cha-cha, Nippon cha-cha-cha!".
Hello @hello5666, the game should load fine - I've experienced no problems with that. Just refresh and it should be fine. Sometimes in Chrome, flash games don't load correctly for some reason though.
Haha, why is this stolen!
You should at least check out my other games before making these allegation!
This is a simple version of my other pool games made for another site.
I added it here so that someone couldn't steal it!!!
@PoopLoops, the numbers on the balls aren't important in this game! All you need do is see if the ball is a Spot/Solid or a Stripe, and remember to pot the Black last.
Hello everyone, I've released American 8-Ball Pool - you can play more 8-ball tournaments using World rules and Stripes and Solids balls - Enjoy: www.kongregate.com/games/NipponMonkey/american-8-ball-pool
Hello everyone! I hope you enjoy the tournaments (with ranking system), Challenges and Time Attacks (with top scores and trophies) while supping a virtual pint or two. It all took a lot of hard work, so please rate kindly - cheers, NipponMonkey \(^_^)/
