Coming soon... American 8-Ball Pool - full release with more tournaments, challenges and time attacks... Here some screen shots: http://www.englishpubpool.co.uk/screenshots/American8BallPool
Of course your stats are saved! How else would anyone get to be rank #1!?? And pot over 10,000 balls?
Your stats are saved under your Kong user name on your computer - so if you play when not logged in or under a different kong account name, then you'll be playing from scratch again... Cheers
@rpresser, I've made it so only the best scores of the day are automatically submitted to the in game leaderboards. This should make it less annoying. Also, I've fixed a trophy bug and I've made a couple of other small changes too...
Congratulations to lugito and handy1212!!! lugito was the first player to win all the trophies!!! And handy1212 managed it soon after. That must've taken hours! Glad you keep on coming back \(^_^)/
@teseme, your stats are never deleted!
But, if you change your username or play when you're not logged in, then the game creates new stats for that user.
You should try check your login name.
Also, the stats are only saved locally on your computer. So, if you play it on a new computer, you'll have to start again from the beginning.
I hope this helps!
@akoaysigod, I've made the game a little faster after some tweaking. Also, you can now use SHIFT/CTRL/SPACE BAR/F + LEFT CLICK to flag. I hope this makes it easier...
@akoaysigod, I'll try to add SHIFT + CLICK for flagging too :). Also the 'lag' is strange as it doesn't happen offline, dunno why that's happening... @malinko, the middle click (or left + right click) wasn't in the original version of Minesweeper - it was only added in later version of windows... That's my excuse anyways...
@yogsloth, you're right about the marking, but once you get used to pressing the SPACE BAR + LEFT CLICK to flag mines it's actually not very different at all.
@wiiwiiwii, I don't know what rules you play, but this game's rules pretty follow the world rules for 9-ball. You NEVER get 2 shots in 9-ball, if you illegally pot the 9-ball it is always replaced. You can ONLY win by legally potting the 9-ball. You should check out the real rules at:
http://www.wpa-pool.com/index.asp?content=rules_9ball
@RestlessNative, thanks for the feed-back. I forgot to change the re-rack check between the EPP version and US version - the triangle is racked in a different place! It's been updated now.
@Roland1995, potting the 9-ball from the break or any time during normal play IS legal as long as you hit the lowest ball first.
@hello5666, thanks :)
@Tycooned, that's not true. If you check the rules on the English Pool Association's website, www.epa.org.uk/rules.php, it doesn't say that anywhere. Also, I used to play in English Pub leagues and we'd always play 2-shots on the black. If you don't like that rule, you can change it in the "Set 8-Ball Rules" menu from the Ranking Tournaments menu. If you change the rules, they will be remembered when you play the game next time.
@Seppal, you're right about the cushion/rail foul, but I chose to ignore that foul in this game. @Wisemage, I think the game has changed plenty. 9-ball is a totally different type of pool than English Pub Pool and the balls are totally different too compared to the simple red and yellow balls in EPP. Plus I've made a few new challenges and time attacks, and other small alterations...
@WeirdAl111, you must always hit the lowest numbered ball first in 9-ball. UNLESS you're playing a PUSH OUT shot, when you can hit/pot any ball, BUT it's always the opponent's turn after a push out shot. If you pot the 9-ball when playing a push out shot, then it will be re-spotted.
