The beta version is sort of okay. When do we get the full version? The Wiki is obviously WIP; it's not proofed and lacks basic doc structure. (1) What do the green faces mean on the student files? (2) How do students level up? (3) How do exams work? (4) How are fame points determined? (5) How do students gain classes and abilities? All I've seen is "principal intervention". (6) How do I halt the game and come back later -- or better yet, switch to sandbox mode to maybe explore some of the missing pieces? (7) The battle mechanics are unacceptable. Weak and distance students rush to the front. Students fail to follow the leader properly. Spending mana to correct a software error is simply bad planning (8) When will the text get proofread?

Is anyone aware of a glitch with the jump buttons? Perhaps once every 20K or so (different games, of course), the software simply fails to acknowledge when I hit the J or K key. The coaster continues the remaining car length to the end of the track and goes down into the black lagoon. Is there some OS dodge for this? It happened twice tonight, and it's pretty annoying. Yes, I'm certain I hit the key, all the way to the floor.

I just kept track of the day / night cycles. Do you realize that this "thrill ride" travels about 1500m in a day? This is less than 2 cm / sec. Perhaps the figures in the little cars are slugs?

Juvenile version of Rudy Sudarto's "Epic War" paradigm. FIRST, explain all of the game mechanics -- I didn't realize until about 4 minutes into the first level that the objective was to do damage the the castle -- I mean, the stone cave -- I mean, the boss. The villagers said the goal monster waved his arms, which this cave didn't do. SECOND, for the love of Safire, proofread your text before you release the game! Since you're not fluent in English, get someone who is to proof your text. One pass would greatly improve the game's appearance. /// Cute idea, but it needs differentiation from previous offerings and work on the basic product. Nice beta version, though.

I think there's a doc problem differentiating between achievements that are done over multiple runs form those done in one run. Specifically, the master tapper achievement reads only "20 triple taps", but appears to require doing that many in one run.

Good idea. Needs proofing -- in both sense of the word. One such run-through would make this solid and have me wish for a sequel. If you want me to do that work, then you should contact me. I've been a tech writer and I aced both 200-level and 300-level symbolic logic. I'll let you write the propositions for this. :-)

You capture a town by reading the previous comments. Sigh ... When you get to the castle, you get two choices: "Enter" and "Battle". If you want to capture the town, choose "Battle". Note that you'll need a pretty tough party to pull this off. I'm traveling in a Vanguard with a total of 15 def / 14 att, and I still lose about 20% of the fights.

8 days into a one-day trip, with a remaining time of "NaN.6" Guys, this is simply sloppy programming; getting "Not a Number" from a routine is an internal error from a table look-up, for heaven's sake! Fix the routine! If nothing else, give the receiving routine a check for the error condition and recover.

Not trolling; actually didn't interpret the icons above the banner: no documentation. After your hints, I did look up the external documentation so I have a good idea of what the achievements are. There's still no report of my distance: the blimps have only kilometer granularity and show up after I've hit the milestone. After I die, i don't know what my final distance was. However, finding the achievements menu and turning off sound were big helps; thanks.

Yup; if you jump too high in Bobbington's room, you can get stuck on the ceiling between the doors. The only way I've found to get off the ceiling is to reload the game. Bug.

Let's see ... There's no easy way to know how far I've gone. There's no direct path to the list of achievements. There's no options screen to turn off the noise. I don't have time to read the messages that pop up with achievements and bonuses. Did you *really* mean to hide the game's "fun" features?

Cute re-working of the basic chain reaction game, but I haven't seen much in the way of innovation. Also, the game mechanics are a bit of a mystery in spots. How about some documented hot keys for the special mines? Finally, *please* learn the difference between an ice floe and an ice floe.

Hercules is right about the balance; ranged items are far too cumbersome for the 1/4 advantage they give. From a playing standpoint, it's a shame to run out of upgrades well before the final battle, and then to have that boss be a quantitative, rather than a qualitative difference. Challenge mode was a yawner after the regular game: collect stars, use them to dump only the largest items, and then hit an impossible situation: large items on the belt, out of stars, and game mechanics that don't let me shuffle until I get relief. Good start, cute paradigm, but please find something in the actual play that makes this more than rock-paper scissors with the foe, and improve the development mechanics.

However, I'd be happy to see you parlay this into a game with extensible playability. We need a certain pleasure in getting to higher levels of achievement, such as having the turtles mutate to be more resistant to our attacks as time goes on. Also, please fix the lag time on the hammer swing.

Yawn. Nice beta, but not a compelling game at all. Earn a few bucks, upgrade, repeat until critical mass achieved. Game over.
