Looks fun, but too fast for me. I'm old and have slow reactions :( If you had difficulty levels, where easy = the bar / wheel thing moves slower, that would be awesome.
Decent? Sure, though 40 fish in 30 seconds is a bit much on laptops. 5 stars? Needs a lot more polish, variety of mini games, etc. Releasing the game in small installments, with the price of the next installment being a 5/5 rating, is smart business, but I hope it doesn't become the trend here.
Bug: I started a game on HARD, closed my browser, came back later and it has me on the right level, but on NORMAL difficulty. Please fix, or just let us change the difficulty from the level select screen.
Coins aren't working. You need to constantly move to avoid enemy shots, and you move faster than coins, so they just follow you around. If you turn around to pick them up, you die. Either make them travel fast enough that you collect them even running away from them at top speed, or better yet, eliminate coins and just award the money for kills directly.
It keeps skipping the "select speed" step. The quarter-circle comes out and immediately selects the slowest speed. I'm not pressing space or clicking. WTH?
To get survival badges (last 10 minutes in survival), DON'T SHOOT ANYTHING. Enemies level up as you shoot them. So just dodge level 1 enemies (that only move in a straight line) for 10 mins to get the badges.
Would really like a way to swing my sword down, so when you're on a platform above an enemy you can hit him. Down+attack does this ducking poke attack that I never use.
Bug: If you remap keys (I did WSAD), then reload the game, the up key is stored for "swing your sword up," but not for "open chests / enter portals." W just doesn't do anything for chests / portals. If I pause and redo the key mapping, it's fixed for that session, but I have to do it again next time I load.
thanks for the feedback, we'll keep it in mind for our next project
