No resources (like land in Magic the Gathering), so you wind up with some cards that clearly dominate others. No discernible depth of strategy. Lots of grinding the same enemy, which you need to put in to deplete the energy bar. Instead of making a mediocre game and trying to charge for it, try making a great game and winning the monthly contest. Paid flash games work on facebook with people who've never seen a computer game before, but not on a real games site like kong.
Hey there, thank you very much for your feedback! We have a great variety of cards currently within the game and we're always adding more, as you level up and explore new zones you'll discover more cards to better assist you in dealing with whatever creatures and obstacles you come across. If you'd like to see some of the cards out there and some of the different combinations other players have come up with, check out our forums at www.clashofthedragons.com/forum happy hunting!
Love creeper world. Bought the first game. Clicked the buy link for the second, but it had a long form to fill out (name, address, etc), so I gave up and went back to Kong. If you lose the form and just ask for the paypal payment, you'll get a lot more sales.
If I select a ship, max it out, then turn autobuild on, I want to autobuild that maxed out ship. Not the last ship I build. Currently, you need to first max it out, manually build one, let it complete, then turn autobuild on. Bad interface.
So I max out a ship, then control-click to say "build continuously." It does, but it builds the basic version, not the maxed out version. How do I tell it to continuously build the maxed out version?
It remembers the last ship you built, so you'll have to build one ship with the preferred setup manually. If you ctrl-click then, it will build that setup for as long as enough materials are available.
One more request: Let me change the order of my team, so the mage casts his debuff first, then everyone attacks that guy. (Otherwise you basically lose a turn on the debuffs).
At this point in development neither of those things will be able to be added to LOTV ch1. Sorry, I want to but it would be a major overhaul of a lot of code, notice how there are no "empty handed" enemies? I'll definitely work them into a future game though.
Eyeballing grid lines is hard for old folks like me. Adding a "laser sight" sort of line that shows where the atoms go would make it easier to place the magnet in the right spot, instead of accidentally placing it 1 tile over.
Nice but repetitive. Different weapons should have actual differences, not just different special attacks. And some upgrade system would be nice, so you're not so much of a glass cannon in the later levels. (Yes, I got the armor, but it still feels like one wrong move and you're restarting the level).
Tips for hardcore: Wait at the start of the game for the armor gems. Either keep them, or sell a few for the exp bonus jewel. Cash is limited, so don't buy more than 2 of the cash bonus jewel (it doesn't pay off well). Speed matters more than attack, since it slows enemies down so you can cancel their specials. To beat the wizard, drink potions until you get 500 rage, then use wound and stun to kill him. Got more? Repost this and add your tips.
