Nice concept but the controls are very awkward. Pressing a key once to change direction and than having to press it again to move doesn't really feel natural. I like the design btw.
The game works for me on Firefox, but the mouse pointer disappears randomly which makes it very difficult to play. I guess it went looking for the mute button...
Still, nice concept and design, just needs some tweaking.
It looks and sounds interesting but I have no idea what to do (or how to turn of the sound).
The text doesn't really help much:
After passing the account at a party, Sabrina does not remember exactly how she became pregnant with a stranger.
Years later... The boy grows up and goes after his father and his sense in a chaotic world of trouble with all his existentialist crisis!
No matter what I do, I fall of the screen and start again. Would this be a real existentialist experience?
Seems promising but you shouldn't FORCE people to listen to a narrative. Make it optional and it will be much more enjoyable. The fighting sequence is a bit flat but might get more interesting, but it looks like there is very little more to do then check your stats. It would be a waste to not do some tweaks here and there.
Thanks so much for your feedback. I've added a skip button during the story sequences so you don't have to listen. Your right, the fighting sequence is a little flat. This is actually the first game I've made and it was quite the project for me. I'm going to take a look when I have a little more time and see if I can do something to make the RPG mechanics a little more interactive.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment and give me some honest feedback
Unfortunately that last update made the game unplayable. My progress was lost, everything is at zero and nothing I click gives any response.
Maybe the first focus should be on a working save function.
Yes, you are right. My first plan was to do proper saving after the game is 'finished' but that is a very short-sighted and unfun idea for you, the players! So that's where I'll put my focus next. Proper saving, and saving that works between updates! :D
Very nice take on the idle genre. I like the textual bits and the original approach. One small thing: make the text in the Thing Maker and Idea Lister not-selectable.
It would be nice to have an idea of how many tiles you still have available.
Overall the game seems promising, but a bit Spartan in the user friendliness department
At some point the game freezes, coins are suspended in the air and if I shoot at the box it starts to shift sideways. Bug or feature?
Screenshot available on request...
I very much like the game, but at some point, if all you can do is wait for the next upgrade (of a hobby) with nothing else to do and it'll take days for that upgrade to finish (per level) you're bound to lose players.
That's a shame for a promising game! :)
(and we need more girls...)
Yes :)
