This game screen size is literally larger than my own computer's screen size. I can see neither the full width nor the full height. Hello and goodbye, Idle Champions, won't be playing you.
This game is very nostalgic for me. I always wished King's Bounty had more replayability. Yeah, the monsters and mercenaries randomized, and the bosses moved castles, but the maps were always exactly the same. This is like a long-abandoned dream come true: an alternate version of the game I always wished had an alternate version. Thanks for this!
1/5: doesn't work. Playing in Chrome. Keyboard shortcuts don't work. Successfully guided the proton flow to the Crystal in the first level, but it just keeps flowing. Would have loved to have seen the second level.
I wish this AI wasn't so predictably stupid. There are a few moves the computer makes that are just beyond ridiculous. Notably the Kamikaze-style suicide attacking that always leaves it vulnerable to losing a city. Kind of takes the fun (and challenge) out of playing when you can always rely on the computer sabotaging itself.
This game is a lot of fun and would get a perfect rating from me if only the icons showing where the enemies will be coming from in the next round were accurate. Sometimes (like in the Petyan Gaz level) one of the warning markers is missing, which completely changes your strategy mid-turn.
I like most Nerdook games and especially appreciate the way they make progress linear (most don't allow players to double their points by replaying levels) and controlled (most don't allow the player to gain some advantage by pausing the game and assessing the situation). The visuals here are great, as always, but the mechanics are just too compressed. There are too many things happening in such a tiny space (especially with drones in the mix), and too many things to keep track of for just the mouse to control. For instance, there are often so many characters and effects on the screen that the teleport buttons get covered up. Slight mis-clicks have to be manually un-clicked with no keyboard shortcuts (like the ESC key) to cancel selections. This is a very fun game, but those later levels are too chaotic to be enjoyable. It changes this from a strategy game into something more akin to a button masher.
So I buy the cards I need to get the "Honored Vanguard" achievement, and (big surprise) they disappear as soon as I go to put the deck together. Seriously? Can't you fix that bug? Are you paying attention to the comments about the game? Because it is, hands down, the most complained about bug in the game.
Am I the only one for whom the amount of units deployed is ALWAYS 100%, regardless of whether it's set to 30%, 50%, 80%, or 100%? Seems like a pretty significant bug.
Hi, the game's been updated. Can you try to reload? Thanks.
