Being colorblind sucks, and the "light up" color shift when a section fits only confuses me more. I'd suggest holding the same colors and using particles or an animated effect to show a valid connection.
Not a bad concept, but I'd move the color guide near the action. That is, it annoyed me to have to look back and forth between the UI and the game. [note: I eventually memorized the layout and this problem didn't apply anymore]
A great time killer in the same vein as Jumper or the god-awful Ball series. My only problem with it was recognizing what parts of the red spikes would kill me and what parts I could pass through.
How come it won't let me equip shields on my Warrior when it clearly states that it is equipable by the Warrior? Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
The powerups don't change the game enough, the game is painfully laggy, and there wasn't ever any reason for me to switch off of the fire combination.
That said, I'll give you some stars for the idea.
What's the difference between Beginner and Experienced modes? Also, I'd love to see variants on the height of the castle you need to create. Playing to 1000 would rock.
Ok.. now that I beat it I'm realizing that the lives aren't such a big deal because there are so few levels. Give this game infinite lives, 50 levels, and a save feature and it would rock.
This game is very original and highly underrated. My only complaint is the issue with the lives (I'd prefer a setup closer to Jumper or Orbox), but that doesn't deter me from ranking it as one of my favorites.
