I am encountering issues with Level 13. I load the level, and my character dies. I hope this is just a glitch and the problem will be fixed upon switching computers...
Well, that glitch is annoying. Whenever I get hit by the fire disabler enemies, my weapon is disabled. Permanently. Game says that it is temporary, but I have yet to experience this temporary bit. Even when the wave resets, my ability to fire remains disabled. I have to die in order to be able to fire again...
Correction, controls need to desperately be fixed. Cannot jump if a spike block is underneath me or in the same screen. If I am in the air, I plummet right down into the block. This is more than unfair, it is bullshit.
Horrible horrible controls. I still cannot get past the first race because it insists I am going to wrong way. It doesn't count any lap for me.
Fix the messages that display during the race too. Make them to be less of a distraction. Knowing you completed a lap should not make the race harder.
Also, upgrades should improve the vehicle, not do nothing...
@fitless: It is fun for a lefty. You also can use the spacebar and arrow keys/wasd to control the ship. There is also auto-fire. Or you can learn how to use the mouse with your other hand. Or you can use the touchpad on laptops...
