Tune workers to stop sucking, they're far too terrible and cap out too easily. Give us ways to upgrade workers. Start hopping on features for this game, get on it dev, this is a shell of a solid idea. It looks good from the outside, but much digging and you find the shells empty.
This game was balanced by either kindergartners or by throwing darts at a board of numbers... *Thunk* Okay this level of vents will reduce 39 heat this level is .. *Thunk* 621! Well.. I'm going to have to add more numbers to my board.. (4 days of hanging up numbers later) *Thunk* and the final level of exchangers can move... wtf only 231k? But my top end cells produce over 100mil heat. Ohh well fffDuck balancing and fffDuck players, the darts rule all.
Balance is an ongoing issue. That being said, the fact that heat exchangers can only move 231k a tick means you just need to be a bit more creative in your reactor design.
MaD2 relies on ad revenue, if you like the game and wish to support it, turn off your adblock. If you're not running one, thanks! (Also free download with optional donation is coming later this month if you prefer direct support. Info in forum thread+social media.)
Enjoyable, but it took the best elements from the first version and put them in the back seat. Now we get to enjoy a weak ass watered down generic game with an interesting catch instead of an interesting game with a weak catch like the first one.
Designer said they planned on putting this out there, seeing if it garnered interest, then tweaking it and re-introducing this as the second game in the series... Sounds smart from a work perspective, but if your game has successful aspects but is an overall failure like this is, you can end up ruining a series before it begins. People won't be as interested the second go around, and it'll get skipped. Plan less poorly please devs.
We do this in our free time, not like it's paying us enough right now to make this our 'job'. That's why we released it to garner interest since 'free internet games' are still a lot of work to make. 160,000+ plays in 7 days isn't exactly a failure, and, I am not done making stuff for the current game anyways. Perhaps you can give our game a try once we've fixed things up based on suggestions and added the new content we have planned? Though I know that people's interests vary greatly and you seem to dislike our game which really isn't a problem that you have these opinions, there are lots of other games out there that you can find interest in so I wish you luck! ~Taiga
No offline mode? Not interested. Will never be interested in a game without an offline mode. Especially one where the only plans for an offline idle is more of a punishment than anything. Whats the point of an idle game? To leave it and come back later, with that in mind understand not everyone can leave their pc running 24/7. You're killing your own game. Not very smart.
Okay, so the only real complaint about this game is that it flows badly. Idle games, from the players perspective, should bring the player in, interest them, give them something to do, then let them come back to it later. This is .... just come back later. Nothing to do at the start but wait an awfully long time for no good reason. Worst idle game move ever tacked onto a pretty decent game once you're past terribly-thought-out-beginning.
Check back as we add more content. Our original plan was to post the game, see if anyone was interested. then Add a ton more content and post again as Idle Conquest 2. but it seems everyone likes the first iteration quite a bit as it is. so we are rushing to add stuff in as well as patch up a few remaining bugs. Sorry for the annoying start. Next update will solve this for the most part by making stuff quite a bit cheaper to build!
What's the point of this game? The end game makes no sense. I've spent a week or more just getting the right team together to do eternia, now that I finally have everyone evolved/upgraded I'm max level and gold is useless. Now tell me what was eternia for again? Ohh that's right gold and xp...
I am totally ON THAT for the next revision !
