Why is this a unity game if it's just number crunching? Sure there's some shit going on in the background, but even in full screen at 1080, you can't see anything really.
Frankly, this dev has no idea whatsoever how to balance and keep games balanced. This sort of game is seriously one of the easiest types to balance. Yet he/she/they have been everywhere with the balance. Half the time you could hit retarded numbers in minutes, the other half you'd spend days getting to a tril. For several days, post 220 ish the oil company became the cheapest unit. Wtf? Now that changed and the offline function doesn't work sometimes. It wasn't a bad game, but the ups and downs don't make sense outside of the pretext, "the dev has no clue how to balance."
The erratic number fluctuations you're experiencing were due to bugs caused by the update, and the number inversion is an intentional design choice. We apologize for the bugs, and we hope that once we have them fixed, your experience will be restored to harmony. We aren't erratically updating and changing the values of the game though - what you're experiencing is not working as intended. Thank you for for your frank comment.
achievements are borked? I have some of the, get 500 of x and am lacking the 300 x achieve. Also at the time I only had 200. Does it count prior resets?
Some people seem to think this isn't an idle game. Well you haven't gotten anywhere in the game yet, because you have to unlock the help from the shop.
Ignore Kaondas' comment. It only slows your progress to hold off on power * x and anyone worth their idle salt has macro clickers so the manual power is nice too.
I see a lot of comments here that are wrong. If you want to get 100% of your profit without the games large number of objects slowing it down, turn the settings to low. The DPS doesn't display properly, but you can clearly see your profits speeding up. Why? Because the game put the graphics on the backburner and gave processing priority to number crunching so you're actually getting what you should be.
So far, too easy, so I skipped to the last 5, finished them in a few minutes. Fantastic idea that just needs a higher level of difficulty. Not worth paying for extra imo.
