I see some complaints about the boss difficulty, but I think that part was done near flawlessly. It was hard. The first time, as the boss walked closer and closer, I was like, well, he'll step back and it will just be attrition, which I can handle... Nope. He took one swing and bashed all of us to kingdom come. Game over. And I was like holy shit, that was awesome! Even though I lost. So the next time I struggled to prioritize killing him before he got too close, took him down just as I was being overrun, and it was a satisfying victory.
Allowing a flash physics engine to manage player movement is a bad idea from a control feel perspective. I can see the influence of both Diablo and Super Mario Brothers in this game (kudos - very good choices), definitely the control feel of Mario is what you want to strive for, not the sloppy, floaty feel of Zombotron.
