For the majority of yesterday the game refused to let me use my Kong account, so I farmed a bunch under a John Doe account. Now it refuses to let me play with the John Doe account and keeps forcing me on a brand new save file. So much for actually encouraging me to put up with this.
I can't help but feel like the glory points from hardcore mode should carry some sort of Rogue Like element, in which we can make the next run somewhat easier by buying upgrades with them. Also, the danger indicator isn't really accurate. I managed to beat some level 7 and 8 enemies with minions but got a savage whooping from 3 lvl 5 plants and lvl 5 zombies. Doesn't feel right
As far as these energy clickbait games usually go, this one is actually not that bad... It is just not that good either. I know game devs need to be fed and stuff but... Just find a better way to get money that is not P2W or Energy, people...
If you just got your badge and/or is thinking about stopping playing this game, consider setting up a shitty deck before you leave. It will help other players in the arena. No one wants to stay here longer than they have to.
it legit made me sad when the "this is the end of the game" message popped up. For the first time in quite a while I wanted to see a flash game to the end. I loved how the level up system works in this.
My only problem with this game and the reason I gave it a 4/5 is the same issue I have with all the other games in this "genre" I guess.
The achievement/mission system is flawed. In absolutely no instance I should kill myself after a couple objectives instead always trying to run my best run. Let's say I'm lucky or skilled and killed the first mini-boss fast, but wait, "you didn't do the 100 meters no-shooting mission, so you can't have it!". And then you go and run 300 meters without shooting anything, get it, kill the boss, and the next mission is doing 200 meters without shooting. Why do I need to prove myself again? I just did 300. Why do I need to do less now? Why do I have to keep killing myself to update my objectives? Why completely disregard my best runs? The money and boss achievements go hand in hand. A bunch of the running achievements can be done at once. It only adds cheap replayability and frustration.
Suggestion: Make additional workers able to do stuff out of their expertise, even if it slows them down. Having them in the begining is virtually useless. From time to time I sold something they could make while my main was busy making braces and herbs like crazy to the point where I couldn't make knifes or bows or better selling items or researches.
Really, making me grind more because I decided to try another upgrade because you wouldn't let me keep what I earned is one of the greediest things you could accomplish. Congratulations.
