Prices for upgrades after the max are initially shown (bug!), eg, 14000 for the next Magnet, but then change to NaN after moving the mouse away and then back.
Hello g00u!
Thank you for all your comments! I've already updated the game and fixed the bugs : ).
Also, please note that this is the first game I've ever created so your feedback means really a lot to me, thanks again!
Way too much screen shake (why does it shake when OTHER ships are hit? Makes no sense). Bullets aren't showing up on the radar, but in the upper left corner (bug!). The default levels/times of the available power-ups makes them worthless. There's no point in picking them up at all until you've invested heavily in them.
I can't pick up the coins if I kill the last enemy... that's frustrating. "Hover over upgrade name to view descriptions." No, hover over the + sign. Oh and I can't tell you how upset I was to accidentally spend my money on the wrong item in the shop the first time. WHY put all the +s in the middle? Name, Plus, Name, Plus. Standard conveyance, you know?
Set desired level, click on all the zeros, find which number has shown up most frequently, click the other numbers until they match. Congratulations, you now have carpal tunnel.
Nice! Lots of potential. Hard to see on my old monitor, and no way to increase the brightness. I wish we could have changed the controls BEFORE the tutorial level. But, the prompts don't change, and the controls for the gun don't change, so prepare to die a lot while you re-discover what does what. And the cutscene needs a skip button. But great engine and great potential.
Whoa buggy. First load, puts a card on the screen, "Continue" button does nothing but lock up the CPU 100%. Reload, can get into the game. The tutorial gets stuck on "Click on a card to add it to your deck." If I leave the screen, the tutorial instructions bring me back, but even after clicking a card, it doesn't move on. Fine, ignore the tutorial. Mission 3, I win. But the game doesn't move on, and the current active mission is still 3. HOW did this get into the Best of 2011?
Well, it's apparently possible for the enemy to so completely upgrade their planetary defenses that even when being simultaneously attached by 19 planets full of COMPLETELY upgraded units, they cannot be harmed. Brilliant.
Oh good, no way to replay earlier levels. Didn't idle the first level to get all the upgrades? You get to start completely over and everything you've done has been a waste of time.
