Seriously needs a Craft All button, especially if you leave the game running and come back to 3000+ Iron. I don't want to hit that button 3000 times! That's ridiculous.
REALLY needs more colorblind support, if it's going to be this color-heavy. REALLY needs faster animations. Great idea, terrible implementation so far. 1-star.
It seems like the AI generates units faster than you do. So instead of having tough AI, we face cheating AI. Add to that the fact that the AI can send every generated unit to the front lines automatically, while we have to click and drag every time, plus the DELAY when moving troops, plus the fact that outnumbered troops are annihilated really quickly, plus the fiddly controls... Solarmax 1 is excellent. This is awful in comparison.
If I'm marking squares, and I'm click-dragging and pass over a square marked with an X, I don't intend to fill it! I'm being punished by these terrible controls.
THESE CONTROLS ARE AWFUL. If I'm using the MOUSE, I mean to mark the square I'm hovering over with X or Space, *NOT* the _previous_ square I clicked on. Basically, there are no mouse controls, ONLY keyboard, unless you like hassle. Seriously, game-breakingly bad control scheme.
So buggy! Sold more items than I had in stock. Mute doesn't mute. People freeze on the screen and never go away. Number of people depends on your framerate.
The window is too small, so I have to scroll around. Why do I have to hit Confirm and then End Phase? Can I do anything after Confirm? No? So why the extra button press? Also, why do I have to hit Confirm at all? There doesn't seem to be a way to take back a card once played, so what am I confirming?
Another bug: Start a level. Press X to switch to black. Oh, it doesn't work yet! You have to click on the game after it loads the level. Also, "Switch between pen/pencil"? Pen and pencil? Both pens and pencils are used for marking. I get what you mean, it just sounds ... incorrect.
Another bug: Click and hold to start marking a line. Move down the line, but don't let go yet. Now move the cursor to either side and go back up the line. Go up and down a few times; see how it's marking/unmarking the wrong squares now? It works when you stay in the row/column you started in, it breaks if you move out of it.
OK, I think I've played enough to give an informed score now. First, I LOVE picross games, so 5 stars to start! -1 for the little bugs (like un-blacking a square). -1 for not being able to hold down a key to mark unused squares. -1 for not locking in to a row/column when marking multiple squares. -1 for not crossing out used numbers when they've been filled. -1 for not shading remaining squares when all the numbers have been used. +10 for developer responses! -100 FOR LEVELS THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED WITH PURE LOGIC. I *love* picross, but this is unacceptable.
I don't want to TOGGLE between blue/black, I want to SHIFT between blue/black. Hold down SHIFT=mark black instead of blue. Release SHIFT, back to blue.
