Fight the frog, but apparently there is an unmentioned time limit. Frog goes berzerk, kills me, I am defeated. Move back in the map, am ambushed, win. The frog has been defeated.... This game is so buggy!
Score recording doesn't work. I made it up to the trillions of dollars before prestiging, and it has recorded a score of mere billions of dollars. Now post-prestige, that score is lost forever. Plus the prestige board price/uses bug that STILL EXISTS in v1.3, this game is ruined and broken.
I prestiged a second time, and it didn't reset the prices. This pretty much breaks the game forever. Restart? I have 40% prestige; there's no point in restarting, or ever playing again.
Well, no wonder Level 24 is so difficult: I finally broke down and watched the walkthrough. In the video, Bob and the moving-electric-balls-of-death move the same speed. In the game I'm playing now, Bob is about half or slower! Game is broken (or laggy, but only for Bob).
I let it run over night, and bought the highest speed. Game froze. Refreshed the page and found it hadn't been saving since yesterday. I get that incremental games are supposed to be time-wasters, but this one is a waste of time.
I turned the sound off before starting the game. The sound decided it didn't want to be turned off, and turned itself back up to full, even though the settings still had it down. Changing the settings at this point did not decrease the volume.
Most of the difficulty seems to be from the tight viewing angle and the loose controls, rather than from design. Which is a shame, because normally I *LOVE* metroidvanias.
Seems to be pay-to-play only, with almost no players. Each time you level up, you're given a list of new interesting items.... that you can't use without paying real money. Who would continue with this game? I'm seriously asking.
