Bug: Ad-Sickness doesn't turn off if at least one party member is swapped after watching an ad. This happens because the timer carries with the character(s); only active party members will have their buff timers count down. Swapping characters back to the active party allows for buff countdowns to continue.
3 humble suggestions: 1. Change color of equipment icon backgrounds to show whether Spectral (lt. blue), Spectral temp. Soulbound (lt. purple), combined (dk. red), Permanent Soulbound (gold). 2. Pause buff timers during main screens. 3. MORE hidden combine and multi-combination equipment!
Just made a lil update with 1. and 2.! Background colors are: Green (Soulbound), red (Combined), blue (Spectral).
More combinations will come in the future!
Another lesser importance bug: when right-clicking on the flash/game window to change the quality from high to low, afterwards keeps the original cursor along with the animated hand cursor. (Firefox, if that makes a difference?)
@laFunk - music recommendation: Use loopable tracks instead of fade-outs. For each area, use 'track 1' for regular levels and 'track 2' only for boss levels. Also, stuff like ambient sounds should have its own 3rd on/off switch.
The tracks are so short I'm afraid it'll be really annoying to have them loop over and over. The ambient sound could use an extra button yeah. It's not a priority, maybe in the future!
Mayhaps a kepress combo:Such as Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3 (for characters 1, 2, & 3 respectively) and tap/click/left-click to consume something in the quick slots. Enjoying the music as well!
::swoon:: This game is back! I saw this and immediately started playing. Only one thing I'm having trouble with so far is that I am having difficulty using items in the quick slots (food, etc.). Instead of using the item, it drops into the general inventory. I can activate/use from inventory, but it doesn't seem to like me. Bug or PICNIC (person in chair, not in code)?
You can drop the item ANYWHERE above the portraits, when the "drop to use" label appears it means the hero will use it as soon as you release the mouse button, but you don't need to drop the item there. Totally PICNIC :P I'll change the label text to "Hero will use", hopefully that's clearer!

Hey Grandestine: I've noticed that the runs are getting longer and longer (GOOD!), but I don't want to spend the whole day on this game alone. After dying and generating a ghost, I notice that if I navigate away and come back later, the ghost is gone. That's BOO-SHEET! (Sorry, had to throw the pun there.) Can you encode into the save file the last ghost/run? Shouldn't be much: class/char. lv./level of defeat.
Keep up the EXCELLENT updates! I'm really enjoying myself here.
Still haven't got a good save/load for entire skill sheets yet but hoping to make one (The ghost contains all of the hero's defense/attack/magic skills from the previous run, so it needs about the same save/load as a 'continue game' feature) I'll add this to the list and come back to it once skill sheets can be saved :)
I'm re-reviewing this per BlueByte's Trici.
1) Age - Simplify this: use a check box to confirm that user is over 13 / 18 years old.
2) After signing up, I go to log in and the hourglass just keeps spinning. While writing this, the load screen changed to a loading bar. This takes WAY too long to download.
3) Shortly into the game, I realized that this is nothing more than a rice cake copy of the Civilization series. 4) UbiSoft support has a horrible customer support reputation. 5) Now that I *have* played the game, my opinion stands. On a positive note: good concept, nice music, thorough tutorial.
Thanks a lot for your feedback and for trying the game, QMagi! Let me just give some feedback back:
1) Good idea, I will forward it to the responsible department!
2) I hope the hoursglass won't stay every time and it's only because of the first time. But I've forwarded it to the technical department anyways.
3) It's no a copy but yes, it's a city builder and it's always kind of similar with other games.
4) Anno Online has it's own support team and has nothing to do with the Ubisoft support.
5) You found positive aspects! Thanks a lot for taking the time writing proper feedback :)
WTF? This game has been in beta forever! Don't you even care anymore? I see that nobody plays this, and it's still sitting in beta. Either do your part and bring this game to fruition or GTFO.
What a horrible piece of shit. You can't even sign up for this crap. Take it from an old vet... AVOID UbiSoft. They are money-hungry douche-bags that dont' care about you. They only care about those micro-transactions.
The sell-all feature needs to be disabled until the weird inventory click bug is solved. Nothing like trying to grab something to put in the combinator, only to have the entire inventory go *POOF*!
I woke up in a cold sweat this morning. I just knew I needed to play golf, but I couldn't find my clubs. Thank you for posting this amazing game, it very well might have saved my life!
Fixed! Thanks for the report.
