As explained in the validation screen the Coins are credited at the same time as the image you submit is turned into one or more puzzles (after being through the community voting process). As soon as possible we will add a feature that will allow you to check if your images are still up for voting or if they have been rejected. EDIT: Feature added!
Needs a dual-save for progress in both story and unlimited mode... or multiple save slots. Having a single slot forces the player to restart. In short, it 'limits' unlimited mode.
