As much as I criticize this game, I find I keep coming back anyway. I may be a sucker for punishment, but to be fair I'll bump my rating up a point. C'est la vie.
On another note, I want to like this game... I really do, but there are so many problems with it that I can't pick out what they did *right*. This was a lazy effort at best, and shouldn't have been released as imbalanced as it is. 2 days ago, I couldn't beat anything, but then I found the Burst tower and now it's not even a game. It's a walk.
This game got a lot right and a lot wrong. Great graphics and sound, but gameplay absolutely SUCKS. Should be able to place/upgrade towers while paused, and the juggling requirement just means bad design and balancing. Some creeps don't have a "counter-tower", like the dodgers (juggling required... again, that's bad design, not good gameplay). Far too fast paced for the relaxed tone it tries to set, and for the TD genre in general. Good effort, Hero Interactive, but BTD2 is mediocre at best.
*fap fap fap* No, not kidding. One of those little biohazard dudes was getting off to the zombie apocalypse. Oh, well... if ya gotta go, go with a smile.
As mining games go, it's average. Better than usual storyline though, I'll give it that. Crafting UI needs to be improved, badly... can hardly tell what's going on with it at any given moment.
