Wow… Epic Fail… On one Map, I was setting up an entirely Knight fighting team, and I was doing great! Then, a whole swarm of like 30+ Bats comes in, and I can't do smack about it for the duration of the map—worst of all, I spent the last of my gold upgrading one of my Knights. This is proof of a need for a faster wave button, lol.
(2/2) I tend to find a weapon with a Minimum of 5 Damage and a Maximum of 9 Damage to be more useful than a weapon with a Minimum of 4 Damage and a Maximum of 10 Damage. Here's my idea: if the Minimum Damage is higher, go for it. I'd rather indefinitely get high damage often than have a chance to get higher damage AND lower damage. Also, keep your spells in relation to your attacking type! If you're going to be a Spellcaster type of fighter, you'll want to keep your enemies at range so you can pelt them with Magic Attacks. Spells like Entangle or Vinefield can slow or completely stop an enemy for a short amount of time—more than enough to send some Ignite or Frost over their unsuspecting heads ;) + if you found any of these tips useful or helpful!
(1/2) Some general and friendly tips: At the end of every Dungeon (if you're like me and you just HAVE to fight every single enemy) take the time to use any spells that carry over, such as Shield or Critical Strike. You can recover all your MP and still have the effect before you even enter the next dungeon! Also, to have 100% damage resistance, you need a 70 Armor Rating. This means an average of 14 Armor Rating per article of clothing, but still… Also, don't immediately break all items into Mana Pearls! As far as it is known, Mana Pearls serve no purpose; any items you WOULD break down to Mana Pearls could prove to be more useful than the item you replaced it with! + if you found any of these tips useful or helpful!
In order to be completely 100% immune to damage, through armor, you need an armor rating of 70. Hope that saves the trouble of you cats having to figure out the math behind its formula, lol ;) 5/5 game :D
Clean, beautiful, well-coded, relatively bug-free, complete, simple, puzzling, well-made, astonishing, astounding, remarkable. These are some important things to have about a game, and you my good sir have developed it all accurately to a tee. Well done! 5/5 for sure, and the implication of Kongregate API makes it bound to have Badges :)
Right now, you should focus on lowering the memory it takes up. The lag can become a little tricky for slower computers, so include a Quality Button somewhere to be helpful. You can also lower lag by making certain Symbols into Movie Clips, since they take up far less Memory.
For Macs, the Ctrl Key is registered as "Command" or "" or "⌘" + if this helps any. Also, you lose if you're vulnerable (noted when you're flashing) and land on the purple thing, so as long as you can recover from flashing, you will be fine. Just try to hurry up and reach the top!
One helpful hint as far as getting the Hard Badge and the God Mode Kills is to keep a really weak mace in your inventory until you decide to go for it. Having the weaker mace means you can do MORE hits to numerous enemies to get to 20 faster, while using the other skilled attacks. Rate up if this helps in any way.
There is no words to describe the pain, the BLOOD AND SWEAT, the grueling agony that will haunt my very core as I age to oblivion. I was killed after grabbing a coin that put me at 99,898
To Mute Sounds, click [Sound]. Another useful tool to help build as quickly as possible is to click "Freeze." You can place Offices, Employees, and all other things while in "Freeze." This however should be disengaged once you have placed Employees, so you can start earning Income :)
Just so everyone is aware, the "PRESS (R) TO RESTART THE GAME" is a lie. Pressing the (R) Key will not restart your game. Also, the Developer should look into this.
For all those asking for a color blind mode, keep in mind the title says COLOR Theory, so you might want to stray from those kind of games… just a thought~
For those who are familiar with Kaizo World and Super Mario World ROM Levels, level 25 reminds me of when you finish a level, then you walk right, and die… lawl, great ending level, I saw it coming but didn't do anything about it anyway
The best way to explore this game is to organize 4 cannons around the anthill with each new game and just upgrade all of them to one solitary Cannon Upgrade. With this method, I could easily get to level 50 and beyond with no cake losses. The best I could find (so far) are Double Heavy Cannons, Quick Cannons and Electric Cannons. But, the best way to survive is to use different cannons for different uses (Ice Towers to slow enemies down for more powerful Towers, etc.) 5/5 game, I love exploring new methods of saving my cake!
