Why are people complaining about manual power being overpowered? Do the math, although auto power is lower than manual, it affects ALL your extractors at the same time. So as you get more extractors, auto power becomes better than manual power (if you spend the same amount in both)
"No clicking to produce!" *finds himself spamming clicks on the natural selection box to get more rare genes.. although i don't actually know if they do anything at all..
This new update makes my reactor look ridiculous. Since you need keep your heat near the limit for maximum production, you can't really use heat exchangers and idle. Thus you end up having to pre-heat your reactor to max capacity and then put heat vents next to every fuel cell so your heat level stays constant lol.
Completed the game, and very disappointed because all of the colours have the exact same powerups. I was expecting each colour to have its own special abilities like in the previous games.
I'm very confused by how heat exchangers and vents work now. In particular I've found that sometimes adding more heat exchangers (without changing anything else) actually INCREASES the amount of heat my reactor gets.
Guide: Don't link your components. It seems like a good idea at first, but the heat generated makes it not worth it. Instead, you should just fill up the board with the cheapest fuel cells with spaces between them so they don't overheat. Reduce heat using storage+upgrades rather than vents/exchangers/coolants (those are utterly useless). And only use stronger fuel cells when you run out of space and have enough heat storage.
That wasn't what I meant dev, now the fire rate bug is reversed: The other weapons are fixed, but the tesla upgrade is showing a HIGHER value than the current value.
the exp/gold given from enemies is bugged. You get the amount for the current enemy level (which is applied on the next enemy spawn), instead of the amount for the ACTUAL level of the enemy (which is what the level was when this enemy was spawned).
Our server provider seems to be having some connectivity issues. Sadly there's nothing we can do at the moment, but we expect the problem to be solved very soon.
Why did you remove the ability to change colors? I needed that there's too many puzzles where the colours are too similar (like shades of green). Colour-blind mode helps sometimes, but even on that mode there are sometimes two similar colours so it really helped to be able to change one of them to something contrasting...
For some reason, the game lags like crazy whenever the final boss fires its laser. Thanks to that I can't dodge it because the keyboard controls don't respond properly while its firing >_<.
My first impression is that this is too similar to AdCap, with the Lvl changes at 25/50/100/200/300/etc, and the ascends at 2%. The problem is no newspaper achievements, so the balance is all broken. The one upside is you get a nice visual for your upgrades, but that's about it.
Don't listen to the tutorial's 8% threat level.. at the start you actually WANT to be attacked. That way you get to fight and get the +10% strength from battle experience over and over while you're still in the first age. That added strength lets you keep people off guard duty in the later ages so winning becomes much easier. (2700~2800 in normal mode)
I understand a full screen mode is hard to implement, so how about a change in font style? Choose a font such that the numbers can still be read even when you zoom out.
It's not hard to implement at all, it's done and it works, just not on Kongregate. Changing the font is an interesting idea though, we'll see what we can do!
Because it has become increasingly apparent that balance is not my forte. I have a planned change that should give them a purpose.
