Alright, a few things. 1) I dont know what some of the icons are. When my guys fight, sometimes there's a little picture of something in the circle that shows their life. I see this little... yellow... thing. Looks like a ghost from Pac-Man. What is that??? There morale? Could you please show us the moral represented in numerical value somewhere on the screen? Also, if that is morale, what makes it go up or down? Seems kind of random at times. 2) It would be nice if we had a completely different look and feel to the
I was a bit disappointed when I fully upgraded the rocket. Just a gold colour of the same thing? I was hoping the rocket would steadily transform into a Nasa Apollo space craft, then would launch you straight through the first level as the booster rockets and so on began to fall off.
That little dog that gives you the report before each battle actually comes from a long line of scouts! His great great grand father was a hunting dog. He would sniff out ducks, then jump behind tall grass and laugh if his owner missed with all 3 shots. If you were born after 1983, you will not get that reference.
2/5. Sorry but while the game is incredibly addictive, the ending is the longest and most boring boss battle I have ever played. You *REALLY* need to allow more chances to hit the last boss. Put the possible chances in places where they're very hard / risky to take... dont make it so we only get 1 shot ever 15 minutes and hope that makes it harder. It really brought down what would have been an otherwise amazing game.
I'm going to disagree with Helk - the rotating field is incredibly frustrating. There's nothing intuitive about it, and it's difficult to understand how things will move. I quit by the 3rd stage. Maybe if you had a preview of how the field will move before you clicked, or highlighted it somehow so we could see how it would move, then it _might_ work, but it still seems unnecessary.
Super easy way to win - kill all guys then leave just 1 alive (in stages that have an engineer, a sentry drone counts as a bad guy, so let him place one and then dont kill it). Now sell all your guns so you dont kill that guy and begin building chargers on the outer rim of the map. Make sure you have the booster, then upgrade the booster so it's giving you 10 money and some shields. With the 1 guy still running around, you'll have 2 minutes to gather shields, money, build more boosters, get MORE shields and money, etc. Keep going till the timer is almost out, then build all your guns and stuff back. I usually put around 8 chargers. You'll be making 1,000 money every 20 seconds or so, and your shields regenerate so fast that you never have to warp around anymore.
Between stages... the most awesome - and I do mean *AWESOME* - guitar jazz thing is playing. I will pay 12 million internets to the man who can tell me the name of this song and where I can download it. Please for the love of god please.
"WHY dont they just destroy the bridge?" - Hawt damn! That there's a great idea yall! We juss get on over der and blow dat sucker up! I always told maw you's da smartest.
Guys I shit you not. I tried the charge tower technique because I couldn't get get passed those "overkill damage" stages... I just now finished the 200,000 overkill damage stage... with 1,318,398 in total damage. If you want to get the overkill challenge, USE LOTS OF CHARGE TOWERS!!! All next to each other!
What do you do on the last level? You need fatty acids to get anything done. You can build cytoplast, but that requires all your fatty acids and it takes too long to regenerate any.
I saw all the top comments about how the game was super bugged, but they're several months old. Decided I'd give it a try... but no, the bugs are still there and haven't been fixed.
The game has some pretty annoying bugs. In some of the stages, the only way to win is to direct a squad over to the door that's letting out enemies. You can tell them and tell them and tell them to move on the door, but they just wont. They dance around doing everything BUT what you told them.
