Easy to get started on this one. However, the achievement multiplier text on the Achievements screen is incorrect: "Current achievement multiplier on each Dimension: 1.0x" This implies a multiplier of 1 x 1 x 1 x ... = 1 i.e. gaining new achievements does absolutely nothing.
I think you mean "Each Achievement increases the achievement multiplier by: 1.0" This would imply a multiplier of (1+1+1+1 +...) which seems to be closer to what really happens in the game.
Brilliant mechanics! Not too simple and not too complex in the layers of tactics. Also loved the way selling items gave you a choice of a bonus every few sales. A nice way to get away from dealing with gold coins.
When I buy a new chest and get 3 new cards, I like seeing what my new cards do. At the moment, mousing over them doesn't work. The only way to find out is to try to remember what they look like and search through the entire card catalogue for a hint.
Doesn't seem much to do? I'm at about 50k for most things, I have 3 adventurers all out exploring, and finding nothing or sometimes low level dungeons. 2 have been exploring for 30 mins and found nothing after finding a first low level dungeon within the first few seconds. I can't recall an exploring adventurer or do much else with them.
They should always find a dungeon. The base stats of the dungeon is based on the level of the adventurer exploring, as well as how attentive the adventurer is (which is also based on level and class). I do agree with you however, they should be able to be recalled from exploring (with nothing found of course) (I'll probably add that tomorrow)
Obviously I'm selling integrated circuits. A 10m^2 shipping container of the latest chips from Intel could be worth well north of a billion dollars. As stellar physicist Richard Feynman said: "There's plenty of room at the bottom" - this was a farsighted speech he gave in 1959. Nobody believed him at the time but the paper was rediscovered in the 1990s and inspired nanotechnology. Look it up on Wikipedia for more info.
Mission 12 - the success conditions are incorrect. The number of boxes required to meet goal conditions, and the number of boxes actually supplied, don't match. Same for both red and blue boxes. Goals activate with half the number of boxes they are supposed to require.
Could you have a way to hide the hints? I like to be able to test myself without hints first. Currently it is impossible to avoid reading the hints displayed next to the mission goal.
OMG! OMG! OMG! A new Baldurans game! Put the kids to bed, turn off the phone, close the email, put the cat out, draw the curtains, make a cup of tea, this has got to be played!
I'm struggling to understand how to conquer my first planet. I have plenty of ships, colony ships, cargo ships, two types of war ships (fighters), yet every time I try to colonise a planet, I'm told it's an enemy planet. I can't see any way of attacking the planet.
Every year or so I see this game again and forget that I've already solved it, and proceed to work through the game. Congrats on a lovely final escape scene - a proper reward! Also congrats on giving my brain a workout every year without fail.
Needs faster penguin movement and save points. Really frustrating midway through the first level when moving a penguin results in, offscreen, 8 other penguins being blown into a trap without warning. I really didn't want to have to go through individually moving 10 glacially slow penguins through a complex series of buttons all over again in order to figure out what not to do next time. Game definitely has potential though otherwise I wouldn't be commenting.
It would be massive help if, when you get a number wrong, it told you what the right answer was. that would help learning for the next round. At the moment I'm just googling and guessing.
I suck at programming but I was able to do all the levels quite easily. Reason being that I have a very logical brain and can plan very quickly, but in real programming I suck at sorting out all the small details.
You get multiplier of 1.5 for completing a row of achievements.
