Dev 100% doesn't give a crap about the Kong community, all he cares about is taking our money. Don't other rating high, or giving his constructive criticism, it's going nowhere.
Experienced significant lag, made the game pretty unplayable (imagine lag when trying to blast those missiles...ugh). My RoG laptop should be able to handle a game like this, but I guess not. From what I did play, however, it would be nice to have more upgrades, because after 5 extractors and 6 or 7 nukes, there's no point in making any more of those and then you can just buy-out defensive missiles. I would have LOVED to be able to "recruit" other cities by defending them. They could then deny a few nukes headed your way every once in a while and add to your empire, I thought it would be a good idea. Maybe a difficulty setting? I liked what I did play, but my laptop sucks sometimes, so I can't really say what was unbalanced about it.
A magnet feature would be excellent, or a larger AoE on mouse cursor. Like say when you get a blue or green supply, if it attracted aliens towards you, it would help not waste it as much as I often do. Seriously, good game, don't think I'm bashing it, I wouldn't have played 6+ hours if it wasn't, but it definitely needs to speed the hell up in terms of progression, because I don't feel like I've made any.
All righty. I've given this game a fair sized chunk of my life, here's what's up. I like the incremental, but it's unnoticeable, significantly too slow based on how fast upgrades costs increase, this makes the entire game way too damn slow to be very enjoyable, however, it IS enjoyable, just tediously slow paced. Needs a larger bonus after reset than "9%" after the first reset. It's ridiculous to reset if the bonus is so pointless, it's another 3 or 4 hours actively playing the game just to get back to where you were and then reset for a "30%" bonus.... I don't want to go through that again. I know there's a passive bonus, but it's insultingly small at the point I am now. Maybe if achievements gave a bonus to your current round (1% bonus per achievement) it would balance the slow pace and accelerate some of the things that are too slow. (Achievement bonus would reset with reset)
Game needs tweaking, it's good, but hurting itself in only having one proper way to play it. Maybe have a difficulty level or a sandbox mode. Would love if upgrades could be transferred over to the next dino somehow, considering how longit can take to get to level 3, it's a real pain in the ass to get killed so much. I am not too sure what the requirements for "wanted level" are, but a level 1 dino shouldn't attract helicopters. Game creates so much lag, and I don't know why. It's 3/5, if ever fixed and upgraded it is a definitive 5/5, but for now, it's lacking. Keep at it, please, it's good, just, not GREAT. You put in the effort to make it this far, keep at it!
I never wanted to buy the gold rush upgrade. I bought the repair one because it's what I needed and wanted. Why would I want to gain about 30 gold instead of repairing my cart. It really screwed my progress.
After a certain point, it would be helpful to be able to buy rank in bulk. Getting the whole gang up to 20 rank takes longer than the guessing part of the game.
Good game, but.
I spend all this time upgrading and making myself awesome. Spend over 100,000 to max out my ship. And I only feel 15% stronger than when I initially started playing the game.
I decided to go all out speed boat. I'm not much faster than when I started, and many common ships outrun and outgun me. In fact, if you want to be a fast moving boat, you will often be made to lose your sails, completely immobilizing you and then you get overrun and die. You're definitely better off being a tank than being fast.
I just wish I felt awesome with a maxed out boat. Even with maxed out guns, shooting at a boss for an entire day, he still didn't die. I am as strong as I can be, and I don't feel awesome. And because of that, I don't feel like playing because I don't feel like I own these waters.
Everything that should be good about this game sucks. Hear me out. Game gets busy and then decides that your 5x backflip doesn't count. Helicopters screw up your jumps, kill your speed, waste your nitro, don't buy them. Fuel and nitro expend too fast. No other tricks than back flip, front flip and high jump. Fuel cans refill .1 second of fuel (maybe). Supernitro is cool, but it completely empties your nitro when it's done. Different cars don't do anything except look different. Upgrades have no descriptions. Nitro upgrade should extend it's life. Engine upgrade should extend its fuel. Different levels have nothing different except a background. Music is good, but repetitively repetitive.
I really doubt there will ever be an update for this game to fix everything wrong with it. We'll see.
I am not earning any souls. It bugged out after a reset. Now it's stuck at current souls: 555,697,339, Souls at reset: 555,702,857. No matter how many times I reset, I can't get it to reset back to normal, or earn more souls.
This gam needs a save feature. 1 star. God damn it. Upgrades could use tweaking. Pilot level-up should increase speed/power of aircraft as well as turning ability and stall speed. Better machine gun, bomb and rocket reload speeds would be cool too.
Watching the particle stream on the final boss is awesome (maxed recourse and piercing). There should be one of the two following suggestions, but not both: Different color for enemy bullets, it looks way too much like money, or a Magnet upgrade so I don't have to ram enemy money by accident to collect my cash (bad magnet at first, hit more bullets by accident, better magnet, do it less). This is especially important since when you have fragmentation and recourse and piercing and retarded rainbow bullets, it's so hard to see anything, so a magnet would be helpful. However, if you just change enemy bullets to typical red, I'm sure it's less programming and solves the issue.
Another note, your game would be closer to 5 stars if you got rid of Pay-to-play. It's a really good game that's only ruining itself by trying to gouge it's players' wallets. I gave it a 1 star because a game I can't play isn't a game I can give 2 stars to. I would much rather have ads than be unable to enjoy this game.
We improved performance in the latest version give it a try!
