Look, I like visual graphics as much as the next girl, but seriously? Epic pwnage at lvl 1 defeats the gaming experience. You need to work up with your skills or it's not fun. Plus, women should be able to be warriors, and ...fantasy armor? Really? Are you saying that the bulk of your players are 14-year old boys?
Would have given it a zero rating, because my god, can you be more stereotypical and hateful?, but Kong wouldn't let me. Great game for 13 year old males with obvious self loathing issues, you know, the kind of guys who kick puppies and kitties just because they're smaller. . . .? Oh and this critique was written by a human female---as in woman. Yeah, that's right kids, a real woman saw this and wasn't impressed.
Lovely graphics, but monotonous, tedious, and ultimately boring. The only thing that separates this from *insert title here* point and click games is .... nothing, which means it combined some of the worst aspects of bad FB games (the regen wait time) with ...clicking. And even most mouse-only games have some form of battle system to them where you have options. I think the only thing left out of the HUD was the option for changing the generic char's undies plaid---that's how badly this was overkilled. Somewhere during lvl 8, I realized I was falling asleep and gave up trying for the lvl10 achieve.
1/5 due to the aforementioned game physics issues and lack of control over your char's movements. There are other great launchers, notably Burrito Bison (due to the CN exposure it got). This doesn't even have achievements to make it worth a full playthrough.
The lag happens at the slots, in the club with the singer/passerby, and in the 1st room of the secret lab. I would also suggest a redo of the slots--I don't know how long I was there, but it was too long. (Not a gambler anyway.) And I wasn't able to collect whatever I had won.
Brilliant game, excellent story, so creepy that I had nightmares. Okay, it was one nightmare and it was only for 30 seconds, but that still counts! I'd love to see all three eps rolled into one game. They're just too short.
Very unique game with a good concept. The pieces don't always move well, and the other commenters are right about the difficulty not being too difficult, but a great concept worth developing further! 5/5.
Don't know if it's a game glitch or what, but I can't actually equip gems. They're not automatically added to my char's bow/armor and you can't drag and drop. Tried Googling the answer, nothing. The FAQs aren't helpful either. Still, a fun little game and really good difficulty and monster improvements, 4/5.
Oh dev, I thought I hated you at Cairo, but alas, no, the elephant did me in. Unfortunately, with my screen size, it's too difficult. However, I wanted to congratulate you on a great and unique puzzle game. I would like to suggest a hint option so you can see the picture splash on the screen. I was watching Whose Line so I didn't hear the music, but the comment on cheerful music mocking frustration was amusing!
The bad gender stereotypes really detract from the game, and you need to do a better job with the translation. Some of the English fouls are painfully bad, and I'm really surprised by this. While I know IriySoft do be a bit on the sexist side, usually it's not this bad. And by the way, I'm one of the folks who buys your games, including King's Guard and have recommended your Cursed Gems series on a number of gaming sites.... 1/5 and the one was for the excellent game play.
Jumping and climbing back up can be tricky. I've found that even when using up and then over, it's still hit or miss. The game itself could be more interesting. It's very monotonous, no offense. Even with the best launch games, they have the random encounter elements that make them great, be it monsters or obstacles or both.
Glitch: level 17 is missing the lower light bulb. I have a screencapture I can send if you'd like. I had to YouTube the walkthrough to figure out what I was doing wrong, turns out, I wasn't doing anything wrong! lol!
I'm playing on Chrome and my keystrokes aren't registering--on easy. This is the only game I've had this happen with, and as a student, I do a lot of word processing. So I know the keys work.
Let me begin by saying this has the definite possibility to be a 5 star game. However, this game needs to work on the dithering problem of the text and making the font size readable. Secondly, while I love deeply involved backgrounds, yours is just a tad too much. And it's not very clear. If the background choices give game stats/boosts, we need to be told. Finally, you don't get enough gp to actually buy Paladins, which makes having one pointless. There are no completion bonuses for waves, so starting out, spamming a board with archers and lvl'ing them is pretty much your only option..... 2/5 with a 5/5 possibility because you have the potential for a fantastic game.
