I see that the translation issue has been addressed, but I do feel it needs to be said again because it really detracts from the game. Many gamers like the storyline as much as the gameplay, but this story is almost painful to read, and that makes me not want to play the game.
I hate zombies. I've hated them ever since I was a child and scarred for life by campy B movies on Elvira Mistress of the Dark late night TV. But now, thanks to the Jackboot, I am taking charge of my fears and stomping zombies back into the ground. Thanks Jackboot!
Actual game critique: Instructions would be helpful. Pressing down does indeed repair/build, but you have to apparently *also* press up the monsters attack because otherwise you can't fire your gun. ---Which would have been helpful knowing. Not one of Armor's better games...
I would like a 'Slow the damned spinny thing down' upgrade please. It's hypnotizing to the degree that I forget that I should be protesting the deplorable treatment of gummy bears. Gummy bears are for eating or bad Disney TV shows, not for squishing.
Not the snazziest graphics but an excellent concept, good walk through, no mouse movement limits or a time limit (which lets me write this, go to the bathroom, wash dishes, etc.), an undo button. 5/5 and thank you for the excellent game play.
I guess this is okay for a minimalist game but there's really no point to it if all you do is click upgrade on everything. Perhaps making it more realistic with water to sunlight ratios? If you wanted to break away from the minimalist idea, you could also get really creative with nitrogen content in the soil, adding worms to the soil, ladybugs to eat the aphids. I will ask that you maybe fix the grammar please. It's painful to read.
Wow, so you've catered to the guys with a scantily clad female char named 'Amber' (in a jungle of all things because everytime I think of jungle names, Amber tops the list...). So where is the scantily clad male option for the ladies? 1/5 because giving a zero based on sexism wasn't an option. Grow up.
The parrot/box stuck me for a bit, but otherwise it could have been a bit more difficult. Cute, though really short. Some of the French to English translations were a bit off as well.
Loved the artwork and the concept of movement from panel to panel. The game itself could have had a better storyline (or perhaps one with a better explanation) and the movement between panels was as much miss as hit. 4/5 to encourage development of unique games, 5/5 if I don't have to read the comments to figure out what's going on.
Could very much use some female char options (preferably without fantasy armor). Seriously, guys aren't the only ones who game and play adventure RPGs...
Having sacked the evil reporter and her minion's new earth, I demand my Mass Murder bonuses. More than that, considering the damage inbreeding does, I have done the world a favor with my horde of zombies. Two headed goat children... just sayin'.
You guys are really generous in your ratings. How this game could have just under 3 stars is a complete mystery to me. There are no instructions, the description is even different (numerical value of trick-o-treaters) than the title screen, the graphics are not very good, and if you have nothing better to do (including pest control, home repair, or listening to Musak on the phone) then ...this game is here. 1/5, which also reflects the effort the author put into it.
If it doesn't allow you to add a shape, you're doing wrong. L is different that _| !!
