Tips for the hard badge: 1) Max main hero, focusing first on Fire rate, Damage and Reload. 2) Max Rocket guy's Damage, reload and especially special (goes up to 3 rockets). 3) Do NOT upgrade his Ammo Cap, firing speed is set by reload speed this way. Yes it's dumb, abuse it. 4) Sniper wants Damage most but everything helps. 5) During last fight, target the boss, air units and totems almost exclusively and use your abilities often and early.
Awesome TD. Well, that barbarian queen was an evil surprise the first time around. One of the few maps I didn't finish first time, nice difficulty curve! Excellent game, only some minor balance issues which are expected when the towers are all quite different. Namely, the ballista's range/AOE is just dominating, esp at night mode. It also levels better as a result of shooting more often. Only refused Orcs the High Ground ONCE lol. 4.5/5
Over 7 years old and still amazing. Only gripe always was the lack of skill reset, you really have to invest wisely if you want to start getting "brilliant" ratings asap. Tips: max (Orc) Cutout skills asap, then invest in (Undead) Mana Pool/Soul Vault, Demon Basic Training/Adoration. After that it's mostly whatever you feel like, but I like beefing up the spells (Damage over cost). P.S: Return Portal useless for Brilliant ratings.
The most broken unit has to be upgraded Phoenix with 10+ fire.. Only counters are a rare Drain Souls or Tornado, which costs 10 compared to phoenix 7!! However, I abused this for opponents with ridiculous health pool e.g. 150+ because whilst a lot of fun, wow can those fights take awhile. Otherwise, Chronomancer was a blast for campaign and illusionist looks like broken fun too (madness + illusions? Wow. Big bruiser slayers.)
My first ending made me VIOLENT? I was trying to drag him to safety away from the smouldering wreck to the crows that said they'd help out. Who bought the jury XD
Challenge level didn't seem that bad, took about 5 tries. Just be patient with the assisted suicide of the guards, for last section with 2 guarded elevator blocks, just keep throwing that hat and duck for cover to the left, you will get them soon enough. Finish time of 1:35.
The barber has raised his prices so many times due to high demand my entire city (sorry, "tiny town") is funded by personal grooming. My money situation is cut and dried. Now that i'm no longer in debt, those hairy proposals have stopped too. Fine, i'll stop, but don't brush my jokes aside, I promise it won't go to my head. Cross my heart and hope to dye.
@CodeAZ404: For level 18, press all down arrows from top to bottom, left arrows from left to right, etc, such that your path is in the direction of the arrow.
Things I like: Satisfying gameplay, variety of mechanics, reasonable difficulty, adding elements to Dark World to increase difficulty dynamically (as opposed to artificially by ramping up speed). Things I dislike: Blue ball reversing and Dark-world induced vertigo and seasickness XO 4/5
Awesome game. My favourite team were 2 engineer + 1 medic front, 2 marine + 1 heavy. If there was more content than 6 extra missions for premium I would pay for it. $6 is a good, non-greedy figure that you can get decent games on Steam for. Please put the same great effort into future games.
I want to play, but my eyes are telling me to run from the never-ending infathomable vortex. My ears hear banging tunes and cast the final vote, and so we stay... for now.
Sword animation looks like it transforms into the Minecraft pick halfway through :D. Oh and not going to play this as everyone is saying enemies are too tanky. In these game types difficulty should come from enemy behaviour first and stats second.
