On the back of each laser bender: "We have carefully designed these laser mirrors to conserve 100% power upon reflection/splitting. However, you may not rotate them in SPACE as this will cause them to self-destruct. Thank you for choosing our product!"
For those frustrated with Stage 9 Challenge: Basically need Sawn-off, Mines, Machete. Prioritise attacks by: 2x mines for 2+ throwers on screen, machete and shotgun to keep mob back. Then, combo mines and machete to "instakill" most of the mob. Need almost full upgrades. Attempt last. It is horribly unbalanced but doable.
Please reserve small and ridiculous questions for the chat. @adventuruskid, you farm by running maps. Which you would have discovered had you played for a couple of hours.
@kinzokuton: If that is indeed true then it's likely because the trimps have run out of suitable landmass and are now building the houses in London, where they are being bought by Russian Oligrimps and left to waste, giving no return investment to the economy. @MCWolfers, you just scare me.
I beat the last boss by maxing out Water, with added Evasion and Move Speed from Fire. Boost regen, evade and hit points with Equip. Hit the boss from a distance with the staff, keep out of reach, run past mobs. If you get cornered, let boss almost hit you (run close then away). It's just a silly hit and run until it's over. Btw: water seems OVERPOWERED.
This game is shockingly fun ( I never thought I could like an Idle game) and here I have seen by far the best Dev reactions to feedback, i.e. actually doing something about it: balancing, fixing issues, and adding new elements to the game experience! Please carry on GreenSatellite, you represent what Kong is meant to be.
@bogdanjoe they'e only weak physically, just like us humans, and what have we conquered? o.0 could this be.... our FUTURE?! Oh well, time to portal again so whatever XD
omg, I swear you made Hard so much harder recently... it's constant beatdowns, even focusing purely on might and economy (minimal faith, no wood!) I get random beatdowns at year 30 of 16 swordsmen 4 knights etc, I am really regretting putting so much time into this game, the RNG is too, too harsh. Many games are unwinnable, and the skills are unbalanced. Zombie chickens, really? worse than militia and get in the way of better units? Chciken Devils, which are worse than Exorcists? Miners or Divine is the only way I can see for the long-term.
Addictive, easy to pick up without tutorials, this is an unpolished diamond. More content/longer, (unlocks from achievements BOI style) more balancing for skills and more varied game, yes to BASIC formations/ order of attack. Look forward to the next one, 4/5
@yolos2: Tips for bullet-hell boss-slaying (generic): 1) Learn Boss' attack patterns. Usually there are about 3, e.g. tracking fire, random burst, charge etc. 2) Learn how to dodge said patterns e.g. moving slowly to draw fire gradually in confined space, staying far away from the boss. 3) Don't get impatient, attack when you are safe. 4) Repeat steps 2.5 and 3 and stop being a whining wuss. You mad? Yeah, you're mad.
Nice game, but really annoying that sometimes you cannot avoid damage(against bunkers with large battalion) and hence causalities. Maybe that's just the way war is... but i'd like ability to tighten formation anyway to ninja-dodge everything occasionally ;)
Meh, pretty much upgrade flamethrower LAST. Rockets and Plasma are your bread and butter. Use Electro stunners mostly on ground units, they are tougher, and spawn in a more limited area. Use shield when you feel like you can't rocket the crap out of everything on the screen before they fire once. Spawners are BAD. Oblitify them first. Megabomb when too many spawns e.g. Boss. Win. Not a bad distraction for 1hr, even if it's not terribly deep. 3/5.
Haha, I truly like your reason for why the archers can fire with impunity. In other defence games we're just led to assume the enemy is tunnel-visioned to the point of negligent suicide ;D enjoying the game immensely btw, this seems well balanced. Being able to redeploy troops is awesome and allows for more options! Only gripe is, for the upgrades i'd like a bit more info (proc chance for abilities, current damage/hp vs. upgrade etc) Keep up the great work!
I've finally reached the Everglade Forest, now spending lots of gold/crystal ore and have won every battle for the last few areas. Then I realise i'm probably about 2/3 through the game after 3 hours 0.0 fun game but becomes mostly about elemental damage spamming and resource management. Don't be afriaid to spend as much good ore as you can though, you more you spend, the stronger you are and the more you will likely gain! 4/5
OMG recruiting is a horrible pain. Not playing any more due to game clearly requiring HOURS of repetitive man-hunting. Also I have to go to a camp and WALK AROUND AGAIN AND INDIVIDUALLY TALK TO EVERYONE I WANT ON MY TEAM. EVERY TIME. Let me click a plus and minus symbol, seriously.
I believe, this is the simplest, fastest and least grindy way to victory: 1) upgrade all islands only to lv 2. 2) Upgrade only Vikings and Arrows until you get Berserkers. 3) only use/upgrade 5/6 Beserkers + 1/6 Beer dudes + Ship support (arrows, catapult etc). 4) Use Beserker Special on First/Last waves, Beer on 2nd, then Ship support in order of cooldown. The general idea is to preserve the majority of your warriors until last 2 waves. 5) Skip last 3 islands and slaughter Boss. I was level 28 but probably possible sooner! Expand and rebalance this game please, it's a great start!
