I already had the badge of the day, but it took me less than an hour to get to 106 speed. I saved up to get spedometer upgrades ASAP (last one I bought cost 14000), but otherwise just played the game.
While I generally agree that this game is neither fun nor strategically deep, I disagree that there are no tactics involved. They just happen to be mostly dumb tactics.
The only problem I have with the game is that we never get to use more than one character at a time. I can see it being really interesting to either have an ally (who we have to protect or support) or to control multiple characters at once.
There are 4 right-click skills: staffs make a vortex that sucks enemies in and damages them, but fast enemies can escape, bows deal damage in an arc of about 120 degrees, shields heal you, and greatswords drop a critical hit on a small area around your cursor. Keeping a sword and shield around just for healing is viable and works much better than waiting for passive healing to work.
SPOILER: So I don't know if I am daft or what, but to make the alchemical puzzle right, mirror the chart, don't flip it over. So put what the chart says for [ in the bottle for ].
Was going to rate a 4, have dropped to a 2 because there isn't an obvious reset puzzle option and reloading the page reset my progress to level 1. Please add a reset puzzle button or hot-key and a way to navigate through already solved puzzles.
Upgrades to specials should not make them lose power. Level 9 healing chest offers 6000 healing (2 at 3000 each). Level 10 only offers 4500 (3 at 1500 each). Level 10 should be 3 at 2000 each at a minimum. Preferably 3 at 2200 each.
