... last time I tried to start this up it didn't load. Now a script in it died half-way through loading. I don't think I'm going to try a third time to get this badge.
So, I'm not sure If I was lucky, but I beat the game with 61 cards, 9 of them being artist blocks. Then I turned around and tried to get a big deck and managed to have 181 when I finished. The second was much easier because I prioritised curiosities and stabs. I'm pretty sure that the game gives you a random member of the various sets. So curiosity can give any card, but stab gives stabs and all the red cards. Frankly, stab is better than any of the red cards since it doesn't have an energy cost associated. I wish there were a way to increase health and energy.
Having played for an hour or so, I have some thoughts:
1. The pony theme adds some interesting ways to interact with the world. At the same time, using melee weapons by hovering them near enemies gives some weird miss conditions.
2. The jumping puzzles are pretty fun. I will note that occasionally the controls clunk out and make me miss a ladder I am trying to hit making me land in a pile a junk and die.
3. In the tutorial complex, I managed to get to the radiation polluted water, and I am pretty sure that I should be able to get past without collecting radiation, but for the life of my I cannot figure it out. Also, there are a couple places in the Tutorial area that break when you use too low a success chance on them which is kinda frustrating (though now I have learned).
I'll probably come back to this some other time even though I generally roll my eyes at pony stuff.
Least favorite level: 43. The lasers look like you should be able to jump every time they are off, but you really have to wait for every other time the horizontal laser fires. This leads to being really screwed up when you have to jump every time for the laser on the bottom. I might have ended up using fewer restarts than on some other levels, but it was certainly the most frustrating.
So, I give this a 3 out of 5. It would have been 5/5 if the difficulty had slowly ramped up and there had been a "next piece" display. Overall, a pretty fun game.
While fighting the boss, I let it push me all the way to the left. Then I was stuck in the floor. I could easily dodge his shots and my shots hit him, so I eventually beat him.
I spent a lot of time to squash that bug and I really thought I had it. I put my character in GOD mode and put the tank on perma charge attack. After and hour of letting it drive over and over me in the corner without glitch I deemed the bug squashed. Guess not. Sorry that really must be rare at this point
See, this could be interesting, except that there are only 3 problems that aren't even dynamically created. Also, I only figured out what was going on because I have a background in computers and computer science.
I'm Sorry for the issues you are having I may update the game soon.
